HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON IN STATISTICS 2
Posts
Wow, even private messages are being counted on here now? The stats are becoming pretty all encompassing!
The struggle to comment on all the things is so very real.
I don't know how Libby does it. When we get that most edited posts stat Libby is going down though.

You'd think that but I just edited a post 5 times to get the right colour for a link. Yeah. You don't have a hope in hell guys. ;p
author=halibabicaSometimes you hit apon the perfect post. Most of the times you don't.
I dunno, Lib, that last post of yours looks awfully unedited.
@kentona: Thinking of it, it'd make sense not to since calculating numbers that staggering would probably lag out the site worse than Pom's best day. ;p

I just noticed something.
nhubi wasn't on the Most Reviews list at all last month. This month, he's #14.
He is a runaway train that cannot be stopped.
Rats Dyhalto, you noticed. Out of my way people, I have no brakes!
Joking aside, I just thought it was about time I gave something back. Reviews are the thing I can do to show my support for a site that I have enjoyed visiting for such a long time, as I'm not a game maker but I do have writing experience.
I think the Summer Jam is going to bring a lot more people to the reviewing table, which is a good thing, so I doubt I'll be at 14 for long.
I’m slowing down a bit to get back to focusing on game development again, so you’ll probably end up passing me in reviews very soon, nhubi.
But it’s nice to see more people around here reviewing more games than ever before. I remember when I used to come here and we’d only have like 2 - 3 reviews for an entire week. Not anymore.

I've enjoyed reading your reviews of the contest games so far! ^_^ Nicely done!
author=AdditYeah, same here. I'd forgotten how much energy goes into writing a review. If I don't get my priorities back on track, I'll never finish my opus >=|

Maybe once I'm done it, I'll nip yours and nhubi's heels (I obviously have some catching up to do) but until then... let nhubi have his time in the alpha light >:3
I honestly jumped on oblivious to the contest. I mean, I've noticed its existance, but that was that for me.
But I came wanting to contribute, so it has been a great opportunity so far. It really is buzzing

Yeah, there's an avalanche of reviews coming in now. One of my fav pastimes is actually reading RMN's reviews. It's good for devs and players alike ( what makes a game tick, or what makes a ticking bomb explode; i.o.w, I like reading good and bad reviews XD ).

As I have yours (not just contest). That one for THPC was a great read.
@Dyhalto, oh the limelight will always be Soli's, unless CashmireCat gets his way and topples the Captain. :) Then again I think I just submitted my 35th review, so maybe I should shut up now.
I know this is going to sound weird, but I don't actually expect anyone other than the developer to read my reviews, yes I know that is foolish since I read and comment on other people's and I'm not a dev. So it's always a bit of a pleasant surprise when you read comments from other people, and most especially those whose work you admire, on your reviews.

Could still count total number of Media, articles, tutorials, scripts, and utilities submitted.

Toppling the person who decides whether or not he will accept your reviews.
You mean like this?
article: 644
game: 2904
commercial game: 68
game blog entry: 10767
game download: 3276
game engine utility: 57
game image: 35648
game media: 1772
game resource: 53
game review: 1988
script: 441
Article right now isn't split out between "articles" and "tutorials", as they use the same object model, but other than that the counts are all there.

Hey... is there a list of the current taglines used by the site? I've a hankering for looking through them is all. ^.^; (And constantly refreshing the page in the hopes of getting a new one is getting old. XP )
I was thinking more on the lines of who submitted the most Media, Articles, etc... Something similar with the most reviews.
And even Media can be divided into the kinds of Media.
ie. Let's Play, Let's Try, Artwork, etc...
Maybe that would make too many statistics?
There should be a list of all the tag lines. Maybe I can start a thread to keep track of them all. I would need to spend an hour pressing the refresh button though.
