Readying my knife in case something jumps at me, but wanting to only use it when absolutely necessary, I turn towards the screams. What do I see?
The sight becomes full clear, the screams are a trio of cannibals with no hair and dressed only with rags. Altough they are a small group, they have a good agility and a strong killer instinct. One of them is ready to attack you!

I think a septiple post is the record actually. But I know for a fact that it's happened before. I'm not sure where, though.
I know for a fact that LockeZ once managed to do this.
Edit: Yeah, I'm dumb. Of course, Gourd_Clae broke the record for the highest m-m-m-multipost with his "bgcghxmbbgj]". I looked it up, those were actually 12 posts in a row.
Anyway, back to the game:
I run into the house and exit through the broken window again as quickly as I can, hoping the cannibals will be distracted by the dead body on the floor. Then I run away, making sure not to fall over while running and trying to find cover as often as possible.
Do they pursue me?

(Ninja'd! I like how our answers were basically the same except for the number of chasing cannibals.)
(Somehow I'm not surprised that Gourd_Clae holds the record.)
While running, I scan the area for places to escape to or crevices in the rocks that will bottleneck the cannibals. What do I see?
You keep running and running until you see a cave at the distance, it looks very dark and it you feel a cold breeze coming from there, so the temperature may be low inside, but it seems like a good place to lose sight of the cannibals.
Do you want to go inside, or do you want to keep looking around?

I enter the cavern, and quickly scrample for and tunnels. What do I find in the cave?

I'm starting to think that this thread is losing interest... Anyways:
You managed to lose sight of the cannibals when you entered the cave, so you start moving to a more relaxed pace.
While you explore the cave, you start feeling the cold slowly reaching your body, your energy depleting, and the uncomfortable sensation that something is stalking you...
You find then a skeleton of a wanderer who explored this cave previously, and beside him, you found an open backpack, a sleeping sack, and an attempt of a campfire. It seems that the wanderer tried to rest here...
What do you do?
