As far as I can see, you guys focus more on new games. I'm trying to clear up the darker side of RMN, with games likely not to be reviewed by anyone else. That's my last two reviews, next up is The Tortoise Vs The Hare.
You haven't seen my random playlist, have you? Minefu, Dys-, The Death of Von Stabbingmore were some random games I reviewed recently. And certainly not new games.
Oh well, it's a noble goal nevertheless! I hope the creators do stumble upon your reviews sometimes ;)

Right now I'm interested in going back to all the old unnoticed games and review as many of them as possible. Because, who's the one to do that if not me?
Don't forget me! I'll gladly help you on your noble quest.
Yeah, it's probably not much I can do, but maybe better than nothing.
Hey
I draw your attention to Stickdude goes to Hell, but yes happy to concede that the majority have been for games 6 months old or less, mostly because I was on a bit of a quest to counter the crazy influx from the IGMC by reviewing them as they came in. That has lessened somewhat, though I imagine we'll get sporadic inclusions as time goes on, especially after the winner gets highlighted on the front page here.
Still I applaud the sentiment and I've enjoyed your reviews of the older lesser known games (though I would really like to see your opinion on The Age of Deliverance one of these days). But I think you're going to be getting some help in that arena sooner rather than later, and like Kylaila hope the developers are around to see and appreciate your effort.

I'm more concerned with the feedback part of the review, so I don't really go out of my way to review a very old game unless the maker is still active and I stumble across it. Most of my effort goes to waste if the dev doesn't ever see the thing.
But, it helps that the games list is sorted by last edited, I think. I usually find something before getting too many pages in.

author=SvielHey, reviews are for the potential players moreso than the devs, imho. If a game interests you enough to want to write a review, do it!
