FINAL FANTASY CONNECTIONS + GILGAMESH ANIME

So some of you may know that there are little references that connect Final Fantasy titles. (I probably don't know all of them but heres a few I do know about)
FF2 and FF4 - The town of Mysidia is in both 2 and 4. Also, apparently in some of the old designers notes for FF 4 its said that the founder was Minwu the whitemage from ff 2.
FF7 and FF10-2 - I didn't finish 10-2 but from what I hear there is a boy in it named Shinra who is an ancestor to the guy who forms the Shinra corporation in FF7
FF12 and various FF Tactics games - If I remember correctly the Tactics series shares the same world as FF XII.
FF5 and FF8 + many other Final Fantasy games - At the end of FFV Gilgamesh says something like "the next time we see each other I will fight along side you" (This isnt a direct quote I'm going on memory here) next time we see him is FF 8 where he helps you fight in the form of a summon. And, yes this is the exact same Gilgamesh. After being sent into the void by ExDeath Gilgamesh gained the ability to dimension hop so every time you see Gilgamesh in any Final Fantasy game that is the same one from FFV. It's not like how every FF has a Cid those are all different Cids. There is only one Gilgamesh.
So for some of you FF fans I'm not breaking new ground but thats not the end of this post.
I bring up this stuff because I think it would be really cool if they did a comical Final Fantasy anime starring Gilgamesh in which he dimension hops to every different game world in the series. In one episode he can be fighting against Cloud Strife in another he could be helping out Terra and the Returners. In one episode maybe he warps to the world of FF III and a Fat Chocobo lands on him and part of the episode is dealing with shenanigans like that. He's neither good nor evil he just gets into random awkward situations on his quest to find the Excalibur. Also he can bring his buddy Enkidu hopefully in dog form.

They do this on purpose as either fan service or reusing names and character/monster/weapon etc to keep it in the same series, feeling. It is not necessarily to pretend they're all the same world over time or anything. That much is automatically obvious. It's just more dots to connect and make ff fans feel warn and fuzzy about their gaming experience.
I always feel warm and fuzzy.
If final fantasy ever got an anime, Gilgamesh as the main character would be a stretch. It'd be pretty funny though!
Also: In the GBA port of FFI you can fight Gilgamesh in on of the bonus dungeons. He is looking for an extraordinarily strong blade. The same blade you see when you cast Saber.

Final Fantasy got a couple of anime series. I can't vouch for FF Unlimited, but I had a tape of an OVA called Final Fantasy Legend of the Crystals when I was 11. It was supposed to be a sequel to FF5, but it wasn't really at all. It ripped off Nadia: Secret of the Blue Water, of all the things. It had a lot of bouncing breasts.
It didn't have Gilgamesh, but it had this

I am aware of the old Final Fantasy animes. I've seen them. But, that doesn't mean they can't do another one and I want it to involve Gilgamesh. Also, if they did make an anime like that I want Gilgamesh to have an unnatural fear of Carbuncle. Yes, I'm talking about the cute little green summon. In his original debut in FF5 he was monstrous so it'd be funny if Gilgamesh was afraid of the cute version since he knows how terrifying it once was.
Another notable character could be Bahamut since he's in every FF game he could be Gilgamesh's reluctant best friend because he could be the only one who retains his memories despite Gilgamesh's dimension hopping (game hopping). What I mean is he'll take the form of whatever FF game Gilgamesh is in during said episode but will still be the exact same character whereas someone like Shiva won't recognize Gilgamesh which will confuse Gilgamesh and lead to some funny moments hopefully.
