Close@seiromem: True, but if Bazyli's spell empowers one of them, we would have wasted that extra power and even made an enemy stronger. That would suck.
The description of Miasmal Currents says it boosts the power of an ally's next spell, so... I don't know, guys. What do? Should we risk it?

I'll use my DEX to jump above the murkals heads and reach
to the other side 3!
With a lot of effort you leap over the Murkal horde in front of you, the Murkals try and claw at you but you make it clean over them! Wow! You safety roll like a boss and land near the exit.
I ready my miasmal currents and use it on Kairy, then Gourd 2!
With the power of MAGI, Bazyli uses miasmal currents on Kairy, taking away the paralyzing magics! Kairy is freed of paralysis! Bazyli abosrbs the magics, solidifying it into usable power and transfers it to gourd! Since paralysis is contracted from electro magic, that is the elemental boost. Unfortunately, one of Gourd's many elemental deficiencies is Electro! Gourd get's zapped and plummets to the ground instead of empowered!
Murkals are firing quills at everyone!
Zuko is no longer stunned! Everyone is back together, including the Murkals!
Fatso is back on his feet, and he has a surprise for you! It retreats into his shell and starts spinning rapidly! It begins to glow, and soon it's launched at the entrance to the cave! React Quickly!
Locations:
Lvl 1 Kairy: All skills available. 26 Hardened Tip Bolts and 9 Quartzine Tipped Bolts. Large Wooden Crossbow (loaded w/hardened tip bolt): Wimpy Leather Armor: 100 CEIL: Hook x1 Torches x 4.
Lvl 1 Razuna: Dual Shoddy-Iron Gladius: Wimpy Leather Armor:125 CEIL: Burned on all of your body! Mass Chaos!

Edit: I find it adorable that the first thing Zuko tries to do when he wakes up is carry Kairy to the exit. She doesn't need to be carried anymore but hey.

Alright then, even status effects can cause empowerment when transferred, but when that status is of an element that you have a deficiency towards, then...
Oh, wait, wait! Not the time! Being attacked! D-do we run or are we still trying to break open that wall? Why were we trying to break it open anyway? I say we just get out of here. You guys can run out and I'll be behind you all, shielding you from any attacks while we flee. Or are we not fleeing? I mean, fleeing isn't the most righteous thing to do after all, but I do believe we are outmatched! Sometimes one must choose flight instead of fight! What do you mean I'm a coward, I'm definitely not a coward, cowards aren't righteous after all

I myself jump back on my feet so Zuko doesn't have to carry me, and then climb up the ladder like everyone else. If a normal Murkal tries to follow or attack us, I shoot it with my crossbow.

Yeesh, quite the difference in luck, right Gourd >=D?
Bazyli turns quickly, but due to his low ENDU and the casting of those two spells, he's pooped! He falls flat on his face! Rushing past him is Zuko and Wes, who stop to try and help him up. Wes, seeing impending doom in a shell sets up a small barrier, blocking the Murkal! The murkal smashes into the barrier 3! and breaks it! however Fatso's velocity is halted. instead, he climbs out of his shell and starts bulging his throat!
Razuna had run past everyone, scooped up gourd and makes it to the ladder. However, he turns and realizes no one is following, so he wait by the ladder just in case. 3 Murkals enter the narrow hall and 2 fire quills at Zuko, Wes and Bazyli!
The other starts bulging it's throat, but Kairy fires at it 2! she misses completely! Now her crossbow is unloaded.

I'll raise my shield to block the qui- wait I don't have a shield do I?! Note to self: obtain shield as soon as able.

(Oh, and I've always pictured myself as a tall, stoic paladin with shining armor and short blond hair. A bit like a younger Wikstrom from Pokemon X/Y, really.)

How long do my skills take to cast? If possible, I'd like to combine all three of them to empower myself and my next shot with Welken Bolster, then use Quickload to load my crossbow with another quartzine bolt and Zip Shot to shoot it right into Fatso's throat or, if his mouth is closed, into his eye instead. Is that possible within a very short time?
