After some discussion Wes casts Small Barrier into the Power Node!
The node glows white, then casts the spell back at Wes! Wes forgot small barrier...

Ta-da, Wes learned Small Barrier H!
Sets up a small barrier at a location, blocking spells and projectiles as well as creating a small mist behind it, soothing wounds of those behind it very lightly. Lasts for 2 Turns.
4 Turn Cooldown after the barrier disappears.
Zuko, after successfully sitting around, says "Well, did it work?"
Wes says "Well, I'd say it did, yes indeed!" Says Wes, admiring the boosted feeling. Razuna remarks "Hm, the thing hasn't self destructed, might still work!"
"Oh, then should we upgrade someone else's spell?" Asks Zuko.
Then the tomb shakes, dust falls from the ceiling. The tremor ends with little damage. Then razuna states a fact about owls.
"Owls are awesome."
"What about ravens?" Asks Zuko.

Kairy quickly checks her equipment, and realizes she's missing her Filled canteen and a hook! Then, if a bit clumsily, Kairy loads a quartzine bolt into her crossbow. Kairy inspects the room 4! -1 3!
Looking about the square cell, Kairy inspects the bars. They're old, spaced apart so one can reach out with their arms, yet solid Iron. You won't be hacking through them any time soon. The cell door is locked like a regular cell door. Outside the cell is a long hallway with a door at each end and many cells on both sides of the walls. You even hear a groan coming from one of them.
Inspecting the skeleton, it's just bones. They're not brittle, and some have sharpened edges.
Silence is around, and that just makes you uneasy.

Bazyli walks over to the Spyder Statue safely thanks to his Dog Senses. When he arrives he inspects it. His dog senses guarantee a perfect roll! 5!
The statue itself is gigantic, 5 Bazyli's couldn't fill one of it's legs. The eye is closed, and the body is large and round... and furry. Then you realize it's alive. It's asleep, but a loud noise will wake it, you have no doubt. You quickly trot away from it quietly. Then the tomb shakes.
A violent, angry shake as if coming from the pit. Then it happens, the miasmal pillar is relit!
"YYEEEAAAAAHHHSSSS!" The spirit cries in delight at it's handiwork.
"Now we can become alive once more! WE CAN BREATH, WE CAN FEEL THE WIND-"
It's about to go on with it's rant when the Spyder's eye opens, casting a beam of red light onto the spirit.
"Oh...!" The spirit utters as the spyder begins to move with great speed towards it. The spyder walks through some wisps, but they disappear and reappear once the Spyder passes. The only thing the spirit can see now is the lack of light from the wisps, signifying the Spyder.
"Come now Basil, I'm not done with my work! I want you to grant a part of your soul to me, then I will begin working on our reconstruction, keep this thing busy, destroy it if you must!"
With the, spirit uses Frost Breath on the Spyder! It's legs become frozen to the ground, but the ice won't hold, and it will soon break free.

Wait! Now that I remember, Zuko had a new skill called Impose Will. If I upgrade it seiromem, the cooldown of the skill will be reduced?
Or an additional effect will be added, or the strength of it will increase.
I'd say Impose Will would be best, yes! And then we should most likely exit this area. The Tomb shaking isn't likely a good sign.

I attempt to pick the lock of the cell door with one of my hardened tip bolts. If it doesn't work, I'll try it using some of the sharpened bones. If that does not work either, I look around the cell again searching for weak spots in the walls. Also, I keep looking and listening carefully for whether something approaches my cell.

Impose Will's Cooldown was reduced by 1!
The node stays stable.
Meanwhile, Wes look through the door on the right and Razuna looks through the door on the left.
The door on the right leads to a thin, long hallway with a door visible at the end, while the door on the left leads to a very thick L shaped room, he cant get a good look from the doorway.

Pulling a Hardened Tipped Bolt from your pack, you move near the cell door and reach outside the cell to the lock. You can reach, but the bolt's shaft leaves little room for dexterity. Eventually you give up due to the point's lack of length. Thinking quickly you move to the skeleton when you hear the groan again and you freeze. No footsteps, just the small, brief clinking of chains. The silence continues.
After a few moments you continue your action, grabbing a long and sharp bone from the skeleton and you attempt to pick the lock 2! you fail and the bones breaks. Frustrated you grab another bone, then you stop and sit, calming down before your second attempt. Once more you reach outside the cell to the lock and 6! you unlock the cell! Of course, it turns out the lock had rusted somewhat and a loud clang of metal is heard as it falls off the door! you freeze and look frantically around as if expecting a stalker to come out of no where and grab you.

You collect yourself and are wary as you exit the cell. The door to the south is large and decorated, much like the door of the Miasmal Pillar room. The door to the north is of regular size but made completely of steel. Before you begin to decide which door to go through you hear a wheezing cough from a cell near you!
Readying your crossbow you check your surrounding but there are no guards. You inspect the cells near you one by one, but only one cell down from yours on the other side is a cell with a women chained by the wrists to the wall! She has long, fiery red hair, light skin and is wearing Thin-Sheet Quartzine Chestplate, some type of scale-leggings, and Thin-Sheet Quartzine Boots. She looks Un-armed and alive. Her eyes are closed and she's breathing lightly, coughing and groaning occasionally.
The silence remains unbroken.

Rushing towards the gigantic Spyder you sneak up behind it while it breaks free of the ice. The Spyder readjusts it's course, looking menacingly at the Spirit, which is now at the rock jutting from the ceiling where the North gate would have been. You sense a part of your soul being ripped from you, then remember the words of the spirit. You allow it to go, losing 200 Energy! Then, the Spirit stats using crackling magic on the tip of the jutting stone, eroding it away.
The Giant Spyder begins a charge! You bark loadly at it 2! releasing a pitiful amount of MAGI energy at it. Luckily the loud bark brought it's attention to you. Turning quickly, the Spyder lunges it's leg in a sweeping motion! Bazyli 5! Darts backwards and avoids the attack!
The Spirit ceases the crackling magic and starts chanting, bringing back the attention of the Spyder. The Spyder lays eggs! It's stunned for a turn!
The around 100 eggs start bulging and excreting nasty juices.

So, that Power Node's STILL usable then. What's next? Dark Fire? Soothe Wounds? Benevolence? Empower?

So now instead of 8 turns of cooldown, Impose Will now has 7 turns of cooldown. Marvelous.
