"Well, that seems to be a chest over there!" Says Zuko as he walks over towards it, Wes joins him.
"No you fools, it could be trapped!" Kairy yells, and Zuko and Wes stop.
"Oh, yes! That is a great possibility, thank you for reminding us Kairy!" Wes says, a little embarresed.
"Thanks for the save, It's a shame your shield broke, Wes." Fureira comments.
"Zuko, give Wes that shell chunk. He can make better use of it than you." Kairy suggests, and Zuko agrees, handing over the Murkal Shell Chunk to Wes, who equips it. Then Wes says
"You're welcome, Fellow palidin! Well, I assume you're a paladin, are you? If you are what order do you hail from?"
Zuko then says "Yeah, we haven't been properly introduced. I'm Zuko the de-*COUGH* War-Mage... yes..."
"I'm Razuna."
"And I'm Wes! Palidin of Roamus!"
Fureira introduces herself to the rest of the group.
"Well, my name is Fureira. I'm a paladin of Daethos, I'm sure you've heard of him, Wes."
"I haven't." Says Razuna.
"Well, he's a deity, of course, but he is the Gatekeeper of the Underrealm. His paladins train to keep the evil demons out. Some manage to sneak through, some break through with a well timed strike; If that happens we paladins are sent after them to drag their sorry asses back to the underrealm. We don't keep ALL demons out, Harmonia the Deity of Unity made sure of that, I actually can't beleive how simple it is. They walk up to us unarmed, ask nicely, then we ask Daethos. If he says yes, we give them a disguise and let them through. If he says no, we tell them to scram."
After listening Zuko inspects the domes 5!
The domes seems to be giant storage containers for a type of magic. The one on the right seems to contain Force Magic while the one on the left seems to contain MAGI magic. Wes walks about, waiting for everyone to finish their action, when he stumbles upon a pile of rubble... Wes finds 4 POWER STONES in the rubble!
Razuna sends Gourd to scout the room, then Razuna walks around, inspecting a few places. He manages to kick around some useless rubble, but doesn't find anything of worth. Gourd comes soaring back with two POWERSTONES in his talons.
Kairy inspects the treasure chest to see if its trapped! 5!
Kairy inspects the chest carefully. It's wooden with Iron framing, and has a crystal lock. The chest isn't locked, however, and there are no traps around it.
Another quake causes the party to lose their balance! 1! Kairy tumbles into the ovular pit! She isn't injured, thankfully, but she crushed an A-Bolt during the fall. A piece of rubble falls on Fureira! Fureira is injured somehow!
The quake ceases.
------------------------------Bazyli----------------------------------
"South door, I think!" Bazyli says. The duo walks toward it.
They enter a giant circular room, bookshelves line the right and left walls with scaffolding going up so one can reach the books. There is a giant Altar in the middle. Shivad comments
"Oh my, this is one impressive altar! I could do all kinds of magical things here! Oh, I'm sure there is a tome here for transmogrification! I'll check the bookshelves, you inspect... anything else." With that, Shivad walks awkwardly towards the bookshelf and starts searching. You inspect the table.
You find that it has an enchantment altar, an alchemy station and many other devices that you don't know the function of. You reach the back of the room and see piles of runes and jars of essence. Movement catches your eye, looking around you see a mouse! Then you see another... and another! There are tons of mice all about!
Shivad yells "Yes! I've found one! Oh, an look at that, you've found the flesh to morph! Go on now, gather them and and restrain them while I set up the ritual!"
Bazyli then coaxes the mice into a group and traps them all in giant empty jar he found. Shivad had set up transfiguration rune. Bazyli places the mice jar onto one of the circles.
"Okay, Do you want your body first, or should I get mine first? Should you want your body first, think of the body you want and stand in the middle circle."
Then Shivad places the tome into a third circle.
"Well?" Shivad asks.

After observing the domes closely, I talk to the group and I say:
"Hey guys! I found something about this domes. It looks like the dome at my right is containing Force energy, while the one in my left is containing MAGI energy, but I don't see anything that looks like a trap, so do you think we can open the chest now?"
And after hearing about the 6 POWER STONES found by Razuna and Wes, I say:
"I like the sound of that! We should also save some for Bazyli when we find him."

"Ah yes, Daethos! I have most definitely heard of Daethos! Though I've never been quite clear on exactly how things work with him... when a demon asks Daethos to be let through, what affects Daethos's decision? Does he only let good or nice demons in? Does he just pick demons at rando-oh does that offend you? Sorry sorry forget I said that. W-well, anyway, how DOES that work, if you don't mind me asking?
Oh! Also, this may sound... strange, but have you seen a young boy around here, in this Tomb? Very, ah, short and, um... young? Well, er, I suppose being short is part of being young. He has a strong efficiency for MAGI. His name is Bazyli. Have you seen him...?"

wildwes, as much as I admire your good roleplaying, especially in your last paragraph, isn't there something you forgot? Like, the fact that Fureira, who you're just chatting with right now, was just hit and injured by a pile of rubble falling from the ceiling. Just sayin'...

After I've made sure Fureira is okay, I say: "Well, about that giant chest. I didn't find any traps either. So I guess it's time to loot!" With that, I Approach the chest, open it and look what's inside. If it's valuables, I immediately start stuffing them into my backpack and pockets.
Oh, yeah, and I'll take one of those Power Stones. Thanks.

Everyone absorbs a power stone!
Knowing Fureira could be injured, Kairy tries to climb out of the ovular pit she tumbled into 5! she hastily climbs out and rushes towards Fureira.
Wes does the same and they push the rubble off of her. Fureira is unconscious, she cannot speak. Wes inspects her 5! and notices that her armor is badly bruised... Fureira has a broken arm and a broken leg!
Her face is bleeding, and she's unconscious.
"Wes, make sure she doesn't get injured any further, let's see what's in that chest..." Kairy gets up and walks towards the chest while Wes sits by Fureira "Shouldn't we be focusing on Fureira?! What's in that chest isn't going anywhere!" But his words fall on deaf ear, or at least on unnaturally greedy ones... In fact, Zuko and Razuna are both drawn to the chest, ignoring Wes's plea.
"Remember, we split this." Razuna reminds Kairy.
Kairy opens the chest...
There's a tongue inside... and the rims of the chest have teeth!
The Mimic attacks! 4! Kairy notices just in time, as white arms unfold out the chest to grab her! She bounces backwards, just at the edge of the ovular pit. Looking into it, she sees cracks develop. Looking back Kairy sees the Mimic flailing it's arms trying to grab Zuko and Razuna! 2! 4!
Razuna noticed just in time, same as Kairy, and dodges, but not Zuko! The mimic grabs the shocked demon and eats him! 4! Zuko's armor holds up and protects him from injury, but the creature is still gnawing, eating through the Balgroth Leather Armor and Zuko cannot move!
A muted roar is heard coming from the ovular pit.
------------------------------Bazyli----------------------------------
Bazyli bows deeply, pretending to take of a hat, and says "You be first, M'lady, you've gone longer without a body than me!"
"Well, how gentlemanly! Let me just..." Shivad lets loose a spark of magic that strikes the book which starts floating and glowing! Shivad jumps and quickly gets into the middle circle, then she closes her eyes and thinks deeply. After a few moments, the jar of rats emits a high-pitched squealing sound. Soon, blood starts oozing out of the mice, but is contained in the jar. It would be incredibly disturbing to Bazyli, even giving him nightmares, had he been a normal boy. The flesh transmogrifies, soon the jar shatters, but the glass morphs as well. A 6 foot naked human female body starts forming. The skin turns a light-blue and hair grows from the head. The hair is a beautiful shade of silver. Soon appendages start forming, breasts, arms, legs, eyes which take on a deep blue. The body is formed, and the manikin crumples.
Soon, a ball of light shoots from it to the nude body. The body comes to life!
"Oh my, I forgot about the no clothing part... uh, well he's just a kid so... I'll need some armor then! We'll also need more flesh to transmute..." Shivad is about to ask Bazyli to see if there are any more rats when three stalkers erupt from the ground! Shivad isn't startled, she in fact smiles. She lets out a cry and the stalkers freeze solid!
"These'll do!" Shivad states as she cuts them from the ground and places them in the circle. "Get on up there Bazyli, and think of your new body! I've made a few... improvements to mine.... heheheheh... Oh, Think of EVERY detail you can! Else those details won't appear!"

Wes does the same and they push the rubble off of her. Fureira is unconscious, she cannot speak. Wes inspects her 5! and notices that her armor is badly bruised... Fureira has a broken arm and a broken leg!
Her face is bleeding, and she's unconscious.
"Wes, make sure she doesn't get injured any further, let's see what's in that chest..." Kairy gets up and walks towards the chest while Wes sits by Fureira "Shouldn't we be focusing on Fureira?! What's in that chest isn't going anywhere!" But his words fall on deaf ear, or at least on unnaturally greedy ones... In fact, Zuko and Razuna are both drawn to the chest, ignoring Wes's plea.
"Remember, we split this." Razuna reminds Kairy.
Kairy opens the chest...
There's a tongue inside... and the rims of the chest have teeth!
The Mimic attacks! 4! Kairy notices just in time, as white arms unfold out the chest to grab her! She bounces backwards, just at the edge of the ovular pit. Looking into it, she sees cracks develop. Looking back Kairy sees the Mimic flailing it's arms trying to grab Zuko and Razuna! 2! 4!
Razuna noticed just in time, same as Kairy, and dodges, but not Zuko! The mimic grabs the shocked demon and eats him! 4! Zuko's armor holds up and protects him from injury, but the creature is still gnawing, eating through the Balgroth Leather Armor and Zuko cannot move!
A muted roar is heard coming from the ovular pit.

Bazyli bows deeply, pretending to take of a hat, and says "You be first, M'lady, you've gone longer without a body than me!"
"Well, how gentlemanly! Let me just..." Shivad lets loose a spark of magic that strikes the book which starts floating and glowing! Shivad jumps and quickly gets into the middle circle, then she closes her eyes and thinks deeply. After a few moments, the jar of rats emits a high-pitched squealing sound. Soon, blood starts oozing out of the mice, but is contained in the jar. It would be incredibly disturbing to Bazyli, even giving him nightmares, had he been a normal boy. The flesh transmogrifies, soon the jar shatters, but the glass morphs as well. A 6 foot naked human female body starts forming. The skin turns a light-blue and hair grows from the head. The hair is a beautiful shade of silver. Soon appendages start forming, breasts, arms, legs, eyes which take on a deep blue. The body is formed, and the manikin crumples.
Soon, a ball of light shoots from it to the nude body. The body comes to life!
"Oh my, I forgot about the no clothing part... uh, well he's just a kid so... I'll need some armor then! We'll also need more flesh to transmute..." Shivad is about to ask Bazyli to see if there are any more rats when three stalkers erupt from the ground! Shivad isn't startled, she in fact smiles. She lets out a cry and the stalkers freeze solid!
"These'll do!" Shivad states as she cuts them from the ground and places them in the circle. "Get on up there Bazyli, and think of your new body! I've made a few... improvements to mine.... heheheheh... Oh, Think of EVERY detail you can! Else those details won't appear!"

Can I cast Welken Bolster on Zuko without actually having to see him? If so, I do just that, otherwise I use it on Wes. I also start loading my crossbow with a quartzine bolt so I can assist the others in case the Mimic is too strong.
