Huff, huff... have to run faster! Have to catch up with Shivad... save Bazyli somehow... wait, is Kairy calling for me? What did she say? Is she calling me back? I can't go back, I ha- wait, what if they're in trouble? Did the Crawlers catch up to them that quickly, were they attacked, do they need my help? But Bazyli surely needs my help as well! I'm sure Kairy or Zuko or someone could help whoever's in trouble, right? But what if they get all get overwhelmed? Argh, I don't know what to do!
We can't let any more team members die now. There has been one death too many already. But there's no use in trying to help Renae from here myself. The worst thing I could do now is enter a melee fight with those Crawlers. But that doesn't mean I can't do anything.
"Wes!", I shout. "Renae is in trouble! If Zuko doesn't get to her in time, she'll need your barrier!" At the same time, I cast Welken Bolster on Zuko to give him some extra speed and power. His demonic nature should be able to sustain the fire energy.
Again, if a Crawler gets too close to me, I will stab it with an Angelous bolt (or throw it at the Crawler, if necessary).
P.S.: Wes, please save your "Smite" ability for Anathema. It's just too fitting to not use it for that purpose.
P.P.S.: Seiromem, what exactly does the "Fearstricken" status do again? Does it just mean we can't actively move close to or attack Anathema?

Kairy casts Welken Bolster! 3!
Zuko feels his legs catch fire! In a good way! He bursts forward with surprising speed towards Renae, the crawlers still a good distance away. Zuko helps Renae stand up, and starts to get her to move away. However she trips once more and says:
"Agh! My ankle is sprained... owwww"
This is when Razuna arrives and tells Zuko:
"The crawlers are getting closer, Zuko you should carry Renae behind a rock or something."
Zuko picks up Renae then rushes with his speed towards a rock behind the group and sets her there.
"Th-thanks Zuko!" Renae says as she sits up. Zuko replies:
"No problem, if Wes comes back he can heal you, then you can help us. Just don't over do anything, alright?"
"Alright." Renae says and nods her head while Zuko moves forward slightly in front of Kairy. Razuna had taken a few steps back but remained in front of everyone when Wes comes back to Kairy fist shaking in his face.
"You idiot! Why'd you run off like that!? You're supposed to help protect us from being, hm, how about TORN APART?"
"B-but Bazyli! He was obviously in tourble, e-even Shivad knew that!"
"Oh, he may have been in trouble, but did you know how? NO! You run away from where you ARE to help where you might not EVEN BE needed! Think before you act!"
"I'm sorry Kairy."
"No words, just action. Let's make sure we all get out of this fight alive, THEN we can worry about Bazyli."
And with that the piercing cry of Anathema is heard as it appears over the top of the rock formation! However it does not attack, it simply stares menacingly as the crawlers begin to swarm the base of the cliff! Be ready!

After getting back to the group, I quickly turn to Wes and tell him:
"Wes! Renae is hurt! Make sure to go and heal her!"
Then I look at the incoming swarm of Crawlers and I tell to the group:
"Ok guys... How should we do this?"
"Wes! Renae is hurt! Make sure to go and heal her!"

All right. Concentration. Strategy can still save us. Just one more time.
Just like I used to hear my commander do back when I was still with my old mercenary company, I start shouting orders loudly and very quickly:
"Razuna, get on top of that rock on the left! I'll take the right one! Zuko and Fureira, position yourselves in the area between the rocks! Use whatever ranged abilities you have now! Wes, take care of Renae first! If the crawlers start breaking through our formation or injure one of us, use your barrier to protect us and split the incoming stream! Gourd must help out where there's Trouble as well!
This way, we might be able to halt and defeat this wave. Be ready!"

I want to heal Renae, but... I don't want to waste my healing magic. Not that healing her would be wasting my magic, but what if... no, no, I must focus! I won't think about him. Shivad will do what she can.
I'll cast Soothe Wounds on Renae and be ready to block any Crawlers that make it through our defenses, either with a Barrier or if necessary, myself.

I'm going to climb the rock on the right and cast Aura Burst on the crawlers,
and if that doesn't work for whatever reason I'll just wait for them to come closer to me and, then, attack!

After telling the party to go to certain positions Kairy dashes to her right and climbs up the rock. She steadies herself atop it and takes out her now not jammed crossbow and quickloads it easily with a MAGI bolt. She quickly aims and fires at a crawler KER-CHUNK 2! and misses her mark. Meanwhile Razuna, Zuko, and Fureira spread out to their positions designated by Kairy. Zuko, holding his sword and shield, does a small ceremonial jig as 3! a ball of darkfire bursts forth! It explodes upon multiple crawlers burning them to a crippled, writhing crisp. He then readies his sword and shield. Razuna turns around and climbs the rock designated by Kairy quickly and easily. Once atop his attempts to project his aura fail as it is still on cooldown. Fureira sends out her chakrams far out in front of her 4! slicing two crawlers to bits. Wes gets slightly behind the lines as he casts Soothe wounds on Renae! 3! Her sprained ankle is cured and she stands up very quickly. "Thanks Wes! Let's make sure these guys don't, uh, get hurt. OK?"
A wave of crawlers arrives at the front lines and will attack while you attack next turn as more crawlers pour down the cliff. Anathema's odd jerking movements and horrible smell still leaves the party on edge. Looking into it's eyes would paralyze anyone with fear. It's skin starts to bubble.

I keep attacking the crawlers, but this time in a more defensive stance.

Crap! I missed again! What's with my aiming skills today? Must be the horrible aura of that disgusting Anathema. It makes it so hard to concentrate.
"Hey, Wes! I might need some backup here in a second..."
I proceed to reload my crossbow with a Magi bolt again. However, I will try to watch out for Crawlers that try to climb up my rock. If one of them comes too close, I will interrupt the reloading process to kick or stomp on the Crawler from above to get them off of the rock.
