Yeah, there will be rest areas.

Also, wildwes, mind having a bit more, uh, action? Oh, and the room is very small and there's only one conceivable way to move forward as of now, so splitting up is not something you guys are capable of doing as of now.
"Hm, Zuko? Oh, you were planning to go talk to that skeleton from the start? Well then, alright, let's both go see what it, er, has to say. Assuming the skeleton DOES have something to say.
The idea of a skeleton talking is just laughable, but... I have seen stranger things... perhaps that Contractor was a bit crazy? That wouldn't surprise me..."

I honestly find the idea of a Paladin trying to talk to a skeleton pretty weird in itself. I'm surprised your first thought wasn't something like "we ought to give him a proper burial" or "talking to the dead? That's almost like necromancy, and not very righteous, is it?"
Well, actually I WAS planning on asking the skeleton if it would like a proper burial, if I talked to it and found that it could indeed communicate.

Also, necromancy isn't always evil! I once knew a necromancer who would travel around the world, bringing people back from the dead for a short time so their loved ones could see and talk to them one last time... I used to think all necromancers, and all necromancy, was bad, but not after that! Besides, talking to the dead isn't necromancy! Bringing them back from the dead is! Talking to them is just, um, what's the term? Oh, I've forgotten. Anyway, talking with the dead is in no way unrighteous, so I don't believe I have anything to worry about.
"Really!? Wow... I have to rethink many of my beliefs of life... Wait... So if not all necromances are that bad, maybe some fairies ARE plotting against humanity! Those scary little beings can't be that happy and peaceful!"

"...DAMN! I wasn't supposed to tell you that either! Damn, my loose mouth!"

Well... Since we're waiting for Bazyli to make his move anyway, how about we have our character chat for a bit? We haven't really had the chance for some additional roleplaying fluff for quite a while.

----------------

Realizing still no one of us has actually eaten something for hours, I take a few MREppers (still no idea what that stands for) out of my backpack and give them to my teammates. "Here, have some food. The innkeeper said they probably don't taste like much, but at least we won't die of starvation here. I bought a ton of these things, so we should be good."

Then I turn towards Zuko and say in a slightly amused tone: "What's your deal with fairies, anyway? Bad experiences?"
Ok, let's chit chat.

-----------------

"Thanks, I guess."

After taking a small bite off the...thing...
I look at Kairy.

"So, how come you don't write?"

Taken entirely by surprise by this unexpected question, Kairy's eyes widen and she looks down at the ground. It's probably the first time any of you have seen what Kairy looks like when she's genuinely feeling insecure. It's... weird.

After a few seconds of silence, she mumbles: "Never learned it, okay? I had to help my parents on the fields every day when I was a kid. And even if I had had time to go to school, they couldn't have afforded to send me anyway. After I left home all I did was train with weapons, no time for anything else. Some mage I worked together with on a mission a few years ago once tried to teach me, but... Eh, those weird little pictures just all look the same to me. I still don't get how anyone can make sense of them..."

------------

Wow, JJJ7. I'm really surprised you actually remembered that bit. Respect.
"Oh, that sounds sad. Sorry about that..."

After a few seconds of silence, I changed the topic to answer Kairy's question:

"So about the fairies, it's not that I had previous experiences with them, they just are scary for me. I mean, they have fun all day, they giggle a lot, they are unpredictable in their behavior, and they're just happy all the time! No human or no-human can possibily be that happy! Who knows what they might be actually thinking!

Keep talking, it gives me more material.
"Y-you can't write?! how did I miss that, wehn did you mention that
That isn't very good, Kairy. I know you've said that being taught didn't work out well for you, but perhaps I could try to teach you? Then again, we may not have much time for that here in the Tomb... Perhaps when we've finished with what we all came here to do?

Oh, Zuko, you know I remember reading a book where one of the main characters was a fairy. What was her name... Merry? Airy? Anyway, she led a group of heroes around the world, making them do various things and telling them that it would save the world, however she was actually trying to get them to destroy the world! Of course, I'm quite sure that book was fictional... so perhaps it isn't quite relevant." That definitely wasn't a reference to anything. Nope ;)
Looking at Kairy.

"I see...well I know both human scripture from my
father's side, and elvish scripture from my mom's side,
So when our job here is done I may teach you."

"And don't worry that wasn't a sad attempt of flirting,
I leave that to Zuko, besides you're to old for me."

There you go seiroman,
More background for Razuna and making fun of Zuko.
"Wes, are you trying to cheer me up or to scare me even MORE!?"

Also, I don't even know what you're making reference to... XD

It makes so much sense that you're with Bazyli now. (I'll be sure to be more atcive now that we're in the tomb. If you guys ever find me not taking an action again just, like, put me on Wes's shoulders or something. Or talk if that makes you happier.) I'll post my action soon~

This part is giving me ideas too... It's also kinda relevant to Zuko having a bit of disdain for Bazyli beyond Bazyli being a kid.

Razuna is strangely perceptive despite being pretty quiet too. Zuko is scared of fairies...hahaha!

I'll join Zuko and Wes at the skeleton. I'll simply listen rather than talk. He did say to listen after all. I doubt the dead cares what we have to say.

------------Turn 32------------
Zuko:
I start looking around... 3! You notice a very thin yet Erie mist on the floor.

I decide to go and try to talk to him...
You listen carefully, but can hear nothing. You seem to not be able to hear the dead.
Kairy:
Then I proceed to investigate the leak in the top right corner. 6!
Walking towards the corner and being careful about the skeleton, you investigate the leak. It seem that a few bricks ha given way to the erosion an now lay on the floor, in a tiny puddle. The water itself seems... off.
You start to feel a bit weakened, but it's not progressing.
Razuna:
I'll carefully check the bracelets. 5!
Carefully inspecting the bracelets, you realize a few things. One, is that they have a hinge on one side and a clicker(thing with seat belts, don't know the name =l) on the other. This means one can wear it, and they are the perfect size for everyone's necks.
Second is the fact that they aren't booby trapped, some helpful information.
Wes:
You equip your armor as well as join Zuko. Instead of listen, you say "Hello there, erm, Mr. Skeleton! How goes it? Any tips to avoid the same demise as you? Wait... was it a great evil!? Tell me it was a great evil, for I must slay it! Immediately! Speak up!"
Of course, the skeleton doesn't respond. Maybe The Contractor was crazy?
Bazyli
I'll simply listen rather than talk. Walking up to the skeleton you listen closely. Of course, you don't hear anything while Wes rambles, but then you hear a faint sound... "Sac..."
Double taking, you tell Wes to hush and listen closer. "Sacri...fice... you... comfo..." It's eerie but you can make out a voice!
"Well, I can't hear anything." Says Zuko, who gets up and walks around.
"He doesn't seem to want to talk! Come now Bazyli, let's investigate more" Wes suggests, but you're far too intent on listening...
"Hurry... equi... them... hurr..." It's faint, but you're slowly being filled with a sense of dread. Then, in a volume so loud you could hear it forever "HURRY!" So startled, you back up a step and fall flat on your butt. You suddenly take notice to an extremely thick, eerie mist on the floor.
"Guys, tell me you heard that!" Asks Bazyli frantically. "Hm? Hear what kid?" Asks Kairy.

"Eh, guys... There is something wrong with this water here. It's making me feel queasy. Better stay away from it and get out of here a quickly as possible."

As Bazyli stumbles backwards and falls, I'm immediately alarmed, turn on the spot and instinctively reach for my crossbow. "What happened there?!"
