"Alright guys, I think I have this figured out." Zuko claims, and he soon explains what he thinks to everyone.
"Heh, pretty good, from a lesser demon." Razuna comments while Kairy takes out her crossbow.
"Alright, who's opening them?" she says as she loads it.
"I will!" Wes offers as he walks to the pedestal.
"Alright, give us the medicine, we'll use it if this is a trap or something."
"What optimism, Kairy." Fureira says as she wields her chakrams.
Wes picks up a red key and brings it to the blue lock in the chest.
He puts it in the lock, and his vision hazes. Soon he sees nothing but crystal and snow. A blizzard appears, twirls around him, and he whites out. After an indistinguishable amount of time, he awakens back in the room with the others.
Immediately, a blinding white light flashes and in the center of the room where the pedestal was floats an angel. She's holding some documents...
"These are the key to your salvation. They contain what you might not think as what you need, but you will need them."
With that, the stunned group finds themselves drawn to the angel.
She then holds out a quill and says
"Sign here, and your needs will be met."
Everyone get's a blaze in their eye, and soon their greed overwhelms them.
The push each other aside, stomp on each other, and get physical. Soon weapons are drawn, but their expressions aren't their own. Bazyli simply hides, away from the conflict that envelopes them. Eventually, while the others quarrel, Zuko makes his way to the angel and grabs the quill.
She was smiling since the beginning, and frowns when Zuko takes it. He quickly grabs the documents out of the angel's hand, when the three pages break under his grip. His face contorts with rage, and he lashed out at the angel. Before that happens, a portal of space time tears open between them! Out of it pour many cyber ninjas, all trying to secure the documents for themselves. One stabs a foolish Zuko, who thought he could get his desires, only to have them break in his hands.
Soon everyone is annihilated, and the document's pieces are collected by the ninjas and taken back into the portal. The angel starts laughing. It's slow, creepy and disturbing.
This is what Wes dreams of while he is frozen in a crystal, caused by the chest with the blue lock. The Red key had been rejected and sent flying from Wes's grasp when the magical booby trap, hidden inside the chest, released the energy that froze Wes. Everyone is surprised, then they start to try and break the ice. Fureira with her fire magic, Razuna and Wes with their swords. Bazyli tries to crack the ice with his new ball&chain, to no avail. Shivad tries to comfort Bazyli who gets a sick feeling in his stomach that Wes stands frozen before them.
"How do we free him!?" He asks desperately.
"Once I've rested more I will try to move the ice, don't you worry Bazyli, I can free him easy... just not in this moment..."
Shivad consoles Bazyli.
"In the mean time, shall we try something different? Perhaps it's not as convoluted as you all thought it was." Fureira suggests.
"Possibly, the red key with the red chest?"
"Well, why don't YOU do it if you're so confident, Fureira." Kairy replies, slightly irritated.
Fureira does so. She grabs the yellow key and brings it to the yellow chest. Fitting the key in the lock, the chest opens. Fureira stoops in and grabs it's contents, revealing a... Stone.
"Hm. Wonder what this does." She says as she holds it.
"Oh well, let's see what's in box color blue!"
She places the yellow key back on the pedestal and grabs the blue key, and with it opens the blue chest, in front of the frozen Wes. Opening safely, she finds a... device of some sort? It's like a syringe, with a giant bulb on the end. It's empty.
"What... is this?" She asks, not really expecting an answer.
After wards she opens the red chests after placing the blue key back on the pedestal and grabbing the red key from the ground. Opening the red chest, she finds a small golden statue.
"You guys should take this, I've not need for treasure."
Kairy grabs it as soon as it's offered and places it in her bag.
"Alright, so... now what?" Kairy asks.
"Hm... we have some kind of syringe and a stone." Zuko states, laying out the very sparse pieces of the puzzle.
"Any ideas, Fureira?" Kairy asks, if a little hostile.
"Nope." She replies briefly.

Broaden your horizon, it doesn't JUST work with liquids.
