Renae, watches and waits, following Kairy.
The crawlers regain focus and scuttle their way towards the party, acidic drool dripping from their gaping maws. WesReadies his shield and blocks the crawlers' vision of the party, agro-ing them to him. He then steps quickly to the side, the crawelers turning to chase him. Zuko readies his Darkfire 2! he feel the power slipping from his grasp, but Renae's presence help him out! +1! He feels he can fire, and with Wes' distraction it's easy to aim! Zuko fires the Darkfire 4! and it is launched at the Crawlers! A burst of dark fire envolpes several of the crawlers and a mere four remain. However, they slow down and quickly go limp as Anathema's head... falls off? Fureira had launched flaming Chakrams and 5! sliced Anathema's head off!
Razuna runs off to find Gourd as Kairy comes up to the party.
"It's... dead! Ha! Yes! We did it, we've defeated the evil monster in the tomb!"
Wes starts laughing Joyfully as Renae smiles profoundly!
"Oh, I'm so relieved none of you got hurt!" Renae exclaims while looking around at everyone.
"So... now what? We go back to the town for our reward, right?" Zuko asks.
Meanwhile Razuna had retrieved Gourd and both he and Fureira join the group.

Anathema's corpse lays in front of the entire group in the middle of a large plains.
It was done. Anathema, a pure force of darkness, was finally defeated. And still, I can't avoid but feel a bit uneasy... I don't know how to express it... It's like, if the battle finished a little too quick, even despite the more tense moments...
Is it really over? No! This is stupid... This is just my mind trying to trick me...
Anathema's dead, and the battle's over. It's time to finally give this story a closure:
"So then, shall we go back? We're going to be late for the victory parade!"

I was thinking I could go look for Shivad, and see if she'd... found Bazyli. She ran off after him quite a while ago, and hasn't come back. Suddenly, an idea hits me. I don't know how it would help my mind, but I didn't want to leave before figuring this out:

As the effect of the adrenaline fades, I realise how little there is left in me - in every way. We won, but it was an empty victory. We only did it because nobody else could. There had been nothing to be gained from killing Anathema from the beginning. But we lost much.
"Guys. Let's go. I'm sick of this place. I'm sick of this village and all the people in it. And I'm especially sick of that frickin' tomb and anything that ever came out of it."
Without waiting for the others, I slowly start walking back in the direction of the village, plans for the future forming in my head. After about twenty steps, I turn around once more.
"There's no way I'm touching that, Zuko. And you shouldn't, either. Come on, everyone."
So... That's it. It's all over. We're going back to town. Take our money. Pretend that nothing every happened..."

"Gotta agree with Kairy, it's possible that the thing's corpse is still dangerous somehow. And with all our attacks, there's no way that thing's alive... right, back to town!" Question is, what to do after... will we part ways? I can see Kairy leaving, and Wes will likely go off to search for Bazyli and Shivad. What'll Zuko do, I wonder?

Everyone begins walking away from the body back towards town. Zuko, getting an idea in his head, turns to look at the body. "You guys..." Zuko begins and everyone looks at him. "Perhaps... there's something we can loot from Anathema? Some kind of valuable?"
Everyone stands around him considering the point. It was valid, but Kairy voiced what they thought. "I've had enough of that thing. Let's leave and let it rot."
she then turns and begins walking to the town, thinking about how damned well she better be paid.
Everyone follows suit and Zuko starts to turn and join them.
Expect something stops him. While looking at Anathema, he sees something. From tail to where the head would be, a giant bulge moved. Throughout Anathema's body it moves as the body spasms. Gasping and shaking in awe Zuko sees that, where Fureira had sliced the head, a vile smelling ooze bubbles and covers it completely. Everyone turns to see why Zuko gasped and mimicked his fear. Teeth six teeth like sickles, separate into two three-pronged maws. Eyes and a head forms in a conjoined neck as Anathema's head shakes vigorously and makes a horrid gurgling sound.

You don't know how much I hated to be right. Anathema not only wasn't dead, but like an Hydra, it just grew another head, along with the one it had already.

Screw that! This is not gonna happen!

I immediately grab my crossbow again, loading it with an Angelous bolt using Quickload, and fire a Zip Shot at the original Anathema's head.

This creature must be slain, for the good of all! I turn back towards Anathema, and begin to head towards it. "Anathema, enough! I shall Smite thee, I shall slay thee with my righteous power!"
"Gourd, think you can try Ominous Caw? Don't think it'll work on this... thing, but worth a shot. Seriously, not dead, not dead?!" I'll cast Power Strikes on myself, and get closer to Anathema, preparing to strike!
