I reload my crossbow with an Electro bolt and move back to the group 5
i'll blast Anathema's butt off with Aura Burst! 4!
5! Kairy loads an electro crossbow bolt quickly and easily and proceeds to back up carefully, Fureira putting herself between Anathema and Kairy. Wes covers Razuna and Zuko as they prepare to react to Anathema’s attack…
Anathema, after shaking off the effects of ominous caw, launches the tentacles in its sides at high speed towards Gourd! Gourd barely maneuvers past them as the first head of Anathema coughs up 4 Crawlers as they land on their feet and immediately bolt towards the party. The second head looks furiously at the trio of men and proceeds to spit out a high-velocity acid! 1!
It goes so fast Wes, who’s in the front, has no time to react as the acid makes a huge impact into him, burning straight through his shield and and armor, severely burning him! Wes is knocked out cold due to the force of the hit and falls with the acid on top of him, burning his skin off!
Zuko and Razuna, however, stay calm despite the disaster. Zuko prepares to use his impose will spell, ready to control whatever he directs it at next turn (+1 to the roll)
Razuna, seeing Anathema writhe around while it attacks, fires an Aura Burst at Anathema’s tail-end 4! send a rippling shockwave that bludgeons Anathema’s tail! It turns a gross blue-ish color due to bruising.
Renae starts to breath more heavily while behind Fureira and Kairy, after seeing Wes being taken out like that.

Zuko has some kind of plan. I'm not entirely sure how it's supposed to work, but being a demon himself, he might actually know what he's doing this time. But either way, Wes going down was probably not a part of his plan.
In order to distract Anathema and win some time, I fire my Electro Bolt at it and try to position myself between it and Wes.
"Renae, quick! Get Wes back up or else he might die! Zuko, if you need Wes's help for your plan to work, you should hold off on it for just another moment."

YO guys while trying to type this up I realized I couldn't deal with something any longer.
The D6 system sucks ass. Way too much variation: You either do something awesome or fail horribly too often.
So I'm moving to D20 which means:
Your stats actually mean something now! (I'm sorry I never included them into much other than benchmarks for skills etc. =X)
Most actions will be based off beating certain d20 rolls which your stats add to! for example: Pushing a bolder: You need a roll of at least 17! So if you roll a 15, but your STR (Changing ATK) adds +3, you'll get an 18 and push the boulder etc. 1 is a failure no matter what, 20 is a success no matter what. Basically going to slowly transfer this into a much more DnD-Esque game, but I'm keeping the endurance system: that is, no HP. Attacks never out-right kill you, they only injure you, and if you go too long while injured, you go unconscious, too long unconscious you die. All these things are affected by endurance.
So the question becomes: do you want me to finish this fight next turn in a way that doesn't kill Anathema and change the system THEN, or do you want me to change it right now and you guys continue the Anathema fight. Which would drastically change how the fight is playing out.

Honestly, that sounds way better! I was also getting tired of being thrown to the air so many times after failing Dark Fire... XD

I agree with you, Seiromem, and like Ilan I think the sooner we start to use a more balanced system, the better. Even if this particular game is nearing its end, it's still a significant improvement in my opinion, and a good opportunity to test if and how it works.
Alright, it's going to take a bit for me to change nearly every aspect of the game, but you can see my progress on the OP, which I will be clearing for this purpose.
And I suggest reading over my changes, as I'm changing a lot. You guys won't have to remake your characters though, don't worry, the changes are for possible future use.

I have changed Electro to Vita, the only person affected by this is Wes, so he can either change this def or keep it as is.

To get electric skills, you'll need an aff of Air and fire, while to get ice skills you'll need aff of Water and Miasmal. Other elemental relationships are applicable, I never specified this before so you can change them as you see fit just this once.

hmmmmmm, interesting. Well, it seems someone as holy and righteous as I would have an affinity for something like Vita, not a weakness to it. I can change this just this once, correct? If so, let's change that weakness to Miasmal.
