6 months have passed since I did the original piece on the right, so I decided to re-do it to see how far I've gotten in my progress/improvement so far. Sorry, I somehow had saved the file on the right as a cursed jpeg, BLEH. SORRY. I just wanted to set up a side-by-side comparison.

And did one up of Princess Yorda today
Your pixels are so precise! And the colors + lighting are hella rad. All that effort you've put towards improving is really showing.
Ahhh thank you so very kindly! n_n I give a lot of credit to pixeljoint, they're a kind of community that if they see someone is open to advice and C&C they will give all the knowledge they have and gladly answer any questions to help. It's great. They've helped me and continue to help me out a loooott. Even with my last piece, Yorda there, I got some good technical advice, friggin A.
Finally finished up Barret Wallace :P

I also realized a bunch of the pixels I posted ages ago are broken linked or something cause I was dumb and moved around pics in my photobucket, so I'll dump them all here in no particular order in terms of chronology.
Welp, did this one up today but I want to go back and work more on it later I think. It was a little rushed for a DA challenge but it's not up to my own standard yet XD

Gah, I want to learn to draw clouds like that. Do you have a tiny-foot fetish? xD

I'd say the larger cloud swirls are the only things that need a touch up.
Yeah, that is reeeeaaaalllly cool
...that sounded sarcastic, haha but seriously that picture is great
and those large swirly things look more like tentacles to me... like, is there an eldritch abomination coming out of a dimensional rift in her hair or something?
Those loopy things were the very things that were bugging me, so I ditched them and focused on the clouds

AND MAYBE I DO ENJOY DRAWING SMALL FEETS.
I won't hold it against you.

But honestly I prefer the loopy things. They somehow balanced the image more, whatever that means.
Hmm, I like both versions, but the detailed clouds in the second one are pretty damn nice
