THE BAND I USED TO BE IN

Warning, it's a punk band.

I don't post it all over the internet, usually because the internet is mostly metalheads, and don't really appreciate the music.

We broke up about a month ago, the drummer and myself wanting to get into more of a ska/pop/progressive sound than the more metal driven one the guitarist was pushing for.

Feel free to leave any comments or feedback here, but please don't on the myspace, because I don't have access to the account anymore and any comments will go to the other two.

Hope you like it!

Love that your drummer plays fast like that. Listened to 'CUP', pretty kickass tune.
Haha, man, maybe around the RM forums you find the crowd that listens to metal and other music, I personally listen to most kinds of punk rock (anarcho/glam/80's/late 79s) and also I do listen to some ska bands, although not as much. So yeah, punk shows are a lot of fun hahaha.
punk music is the greatest. nothing better than a crowd of sweaty teens in a basement yelling and screaming to a cacophony of burning guitars, sinking bass, and jackhammer drums, thrashing around their instruments maliciously and furiously. so much energy! it's wild.

lets discuss good punk bands!

my contributions: minor threat, leftover crack, bad brains
haha, I've been into a couple basement shows... well about bands, I like those you mentioned... I've seen leftover crack like 4 times back then, they usually make free shows in tompkins park, NYC in the summer. There are waay too many punk bands haha, I remember when I first got into listening to it... I had an obsession haha, and I used to go to a lot of shows, mostly between jersey and NYC, since you like some of the old school stuff, you heard of the subhumans? they came once back then, I remember I had no money to go to that show, so I started selling games in gamestop for cash haha, and ran like nuts to catch that show.
