Now, I'm having a lot of trouble with something. If the assassin wasn't disabled when piano was killed, then why hasn't he taken that opportunity to kill? His win condition is clearly to kill the Tenkai before the festival ends. I suppose you could argue "Well maybe he just wanted to sit back and let us kill ourselves off" which, in another mafia game might have had some merit. But with such a strict win condition, I don't see how it makes any sense to waste opportunities like this.

But if Cave isn't the real tenkai and he's fooling us all, and he's really the assassin... a counterclaim could have him lynched immediately, handing us the game.

Not to mention the fact that some of Liberty's comments around the time look uncharacteristically misleading if Cave's not the Tenkai.

the entire town was under impression that assassin was disabled. we have since learned ( i knew all along (genius)) that this was not the case.

so the question becomes, why would the assassin withhold their kills, if they were not disabled.

the answer is: to provide an 'alibi' for themselves. the two people who had the opportunity to create such an alibi were gourd and unity, the claimed tracker and jailer. and i've been suspicious of gourd all game.


there is another possibility though. unity, who did you jail last night.

I didn't jail anyone. I thought the assassin was disabled, so I didn't see a point to jailing someone.

To answer piano's question last page: yes, my protection activates automatically each night, whether I send an action PM to Liberty or not. If he gets targeted, I take the attack instead. Though, apparently I'll only protect him if no one else does, since on the night he was targeted YOU died instead of me.

And CAVE: I didn't do anything the night piano died. I've said this before: I don't choose whether or not I protect the Tenkai or do something else. I just do it automatically if he gets targeted with something nasty.

Yes, I was thinking about that myself, and Cave does have a point: the assassin could have held back so that she had an alibi. The only other reason I can think of is that she still, for some reason, might not be sure who Tenkai was and was using the opportunity to see if anyone counterclaimed Cave. Fact remains, read the flavor text carefully. It's my hunting skill that triggers the disability, not the protect:

No. Since Cave clearly has all the information to confirm he's Tenkai, a counterclaim would actually put his accuser in the same position as him, which I saw immediately during the roleclaim, which is why I would have remained "as quiet as the dead."

True, but her comments aren't necessarily the silver stamp.

Now, to answer some questions I know you have. I am a vampire. Dying puts me out of the game for two days. I discovered the assassin following Klaus on the night in question and confronted her. She tried to avoid me but I was faster than her. We fought. She stabbed me in the shoulder and the neck. I triggered a light rune. The pm mentioned no other effects of the rune, so I assume it did nothing except draw the authorities' attention.

once again, you should not have spoken. what i said was for platinumashes to confirm gourd's gender, since they are masons and this could have come up in their chat. i also asked for anyone who had stated their gender prior to this to come forward.

as usual, you have embarrassed yourself beyond belief.

They're not really a couple though, Sierra just apparently is really into guys who hate her I guess.
