CloseHi, first of all I'm not a game designer and I do not make games... I know that's a great way to start off an introduction in the introductions to a site called 'RPGmaker'... I'm not necessarily a game-maker however I am a aspiring composer and musician (and a massive game fan).
I'm just joining here as it seems like most games need music, and most gamemakers (insert appropriate job title) are not composers so therefor I thought they'd be a problem there and hopefully I'm somewhat a solution!
I'm sure there are a lot of musicians here already probably much better then me but as a massive fan of games (have I told you that?), I really want to work on game music. So, hopefully I can throw together some sounds in a sequence and upload them here and if you want to work with me I'll be more then happy to work on some original soundtracks for your game!
Plus, I might even end up learning how to make some kickass games since I'm a massive game fan (I don't think I've touched upon how big a game fan I am).

Don't worry, this is far more than a site for Game Designers. We have niche boards for pretty well every part of the video game ecosystem, whether it be Composers, Artists, Writers, Programmers, Testers, or the players themselves.

I'm fairly new to composing for games altogether but I'm just wanting to experiment as much as possible so if you can't find someone, I'll be happy to give it a go. I've actually been wanting to do chiptune/8 bit for a while now! I should have some demos up soon, I'll try to make some 8bit stuff for that, otherwise you can just shoot me a message and we can talk on there!
The other thing going on is the MOG event - wherein we create custom resources like soundtracks or tilesets or whatnot. Then, a game-creation event follows where we use these resources to make games. good times. you should join.
