Help with fixing up game! Topic

This is about the David Patch (I think???). Reason I'm asking for help is well...I got a new computer finally, and um...trying to reinstall RPG Maker 2k3. I got the maker reinstalled, got DynRPG and 2K9 Ultimate reinstalled. However, I can't seem to get this patch to work or something, because monster HP won't go above 99,999 (and speed can go above 255 which I know wasn't a thing that was supposed to happen before...). So I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or what??

did you already try uninstalling and reinstalling it all again？

afaik the David Patch is just a resource hack. If you still have your original rm2k3 editor executable copy&paste it to your new rm2k3 directory and just run it.

That's the thing. I just dragged my entire folder from my external, which had everything FOR the game there (nothing for the actual 2k3 program, don't think anything was needed to be brought from that), to my new desktop, and it's acting like it doesn't have it at all, so I don't know why it's not recognizing it...

I'm not sure if your problem is still there but my PC did the same thing with another file. It says its not there but sometimes you can see it and the file still is taking up the right amount of space. The way I fixed my problem with it is i copied the file some where else this made a new copy of what i needed and the PC could see the copy.
Not sure if this is what you meant or if it will fix it but I tried :3

Yeah, I figured out what the problem was. I had to put the RPG2003 into the folder for the bootup for 2k3 itself and nothing to do with my game so it's resolved now! ^^;
