Favourite classical FF tracks? Topic

So, if you could pick just THREE of your favourite tracks from the classic FFs ( FF1-FF6 ), what would they be? ( mind you, my favs only stem from IV and later ).

FFIV:

3. Mount Ordeals
2. Rydia's Theme
1. Toroian Beauty ( seriously, I can loop this track for hours )

FFV: ( not as memorable as the other FFs, but w/e )

3. The Dragon Spreads its Wings
2. Battle with Gilgamesh
1. My Home Sweet Home ( I listen to this when mapping my towns )

FFVI: This one was a tough nut to crack, but I finally whittled it down to just 3.

3. Coin Song
2. Phantom Forest
1. GAU's THEME! ( this track gives me freakin' goosebumps. It's one of the most beautiful FF melodies out there )

How dare you insinuate that Final Fantasy V doesn't have one of the best soundtracks in the series. It's so freaking groovy, man.

1. Overworld Theme (This song is more melancholy and haunting than it has any right to be)

FF3

3. Forbidden Land of Eureka
2. Battle Theme
1. Dark World (This is actually one of my favourite 8-Bit/RPG themes of all time)

FF4

3. Main Theme
2. Red Wings (I use this a LOT for brainstorming when I need to think of cinematic stuff)
1. Land of Dwarves

FF5

3. Fate in Haze
2. Prelude to the Void (This is also a very good boon to brainstorming for me, mostly for environment or atmosphere design)
1. The Decisive Battle (Those FUCKING drums)

FF6

I could probably write a top ten for 4-10, but I'll stay within the limits of the thread.

I don't think I could recall a single memorable tune from FF5...

yeah, had to check out a youtube vid of the OST. And nothing really made an impression on me. It feels like... he just lazily made a sequel to FF4's soundtrack, and never really pushed any new boundries or explored any new sounds or melodies. Like, just polished off some scraps and leftovers and outtakes from his work on FF4 and called it a soundtrack for FF5

Also if we are including FFVII:

Actually I probably like it more than 4's, but I also like V more overall...

I dunno msn, I think 5 has the third best soundtrack in the series, next to 6 and 7. 4's soundtrack is cool but it always sounded a little flat to me. I think that 5 is where Uematsu really started to take off with his FF work, and I really admire the use of the bass, drums and fades in the songs.

Anything beyond that I either haven't heard enough to list any or nothing really stands out at this time.

Edit: Asking for 3 is hard with some of these games, but ill clear this up.

can't give you three but I really like the theme that plays in the baron castle from IV + the world map theme, and both celes's and terra's themes and in my top favs.

the original ff's battle theme is also pretty badass.

I like the bass line in the FF4 battle music, the normal battle I think.

And I fucking hate the choboco theme.
