... Maybe if he had a more dramatic stance, like one leg out further than the other as he puts stress on it to steady himself or... something... but yeah as Max McGee said it looks awkward as it is.

This, right here. Probably the most important understanding to ever actually finishing a game is the understanding that not everything needs to be absolutely perfect to move forward. : )
