CloseI recomend wii ;D its very very funny with friends and you only need two games to get fun with friends: Wario smoth moves and rayman. and you could revive the games of the past like punch out ;D or mario 3 ;D but if you dont want that :'( i will recomend the... Xbox 360. This is so sad no one like wii :'(

Wait for the price drop on the 360 if you're going to get one. If you're a fan of jRPG's, then it's your system for this generation. Both systems have a good library, so it all depends on what you like. But judging by what you're looking for, the 360 is the better option.

I already have a DS (and PSP) so I'm all set in the handheld department. But yeah, I think a 360 is the better choice. And even though Lost Odyssey is apparently "more of the same," it still looks like a great game.

Good call on 360. And AP-King-Pro, who said nobody likes Wii? I do, but as Neophyte said this isnt about Wii.
I've got both consoles but I bought the 360 first and I'd say that was the better choice, concidering how few PS3 games were out at the time. Currently I have five RPGs for the 360, however so far as I've seen the PS3 mostly has FPS, Action and Driving games out and there's only one PS3 exlusive RPG currently released, at least here in the UK.
I don't know if you have a better selection of games to choose from for the PS3 since games are released sooner in the US than here but If I had to recommend which console, I'd say the 360.
