HYPERLINKS SHOULD HAVE DIFF COLOR/STYLING

*mind blown*

At least there's an alternative in the meantime. You can take matters into your own hands this very minute!
Still waiting for ankylo to chime in. How feasible is this change? (I'm all for it, btw)

I do - by bolding any links I add to my posts. But the plain thing is, links should be easily visible at a glance.
So it'll have to be one of the site approved colour's right, so what were you thinking? Orange? Green? Grey? Yellow is migraine inducing, though.
Orange works well against the black. Green & grey look too similar to black text, orange stands out. Anything but yellow!
A nice Blue should be fine and is safer for most forms of colorblindness.

Or... and just listen, because it's a revolutionary idea, I know... OR it could be made an automatic part of the site coding so that you don't have to!
Shocking concept, yes, but it would make it a lot easier on older and worse-off eyes.
User customizable CSS might be an interesting idea...
