Does anyone know of any free MIDI composition/creation software? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Midi Maker. It has a trial version, and I used to use it from time to time. Google it.

I use Anvil Studios, but its kind of meh.

It's actually alot less meh than alot of programs out there. It's 100% free. The interface is a little bit clunky, but it's got alot of swell features that help produce a great sound out of your midi's.


Fruity Loops is the best thing I've come across in terms of sequencing midis. I mean... I paid a shiny price for mine, but you're looking for free, so eh.

Well, that's true, but there are still better options out there that are also free, from what I have heard.
