So, as we all know, the Misaos are a pile of corruption and secrets and possibly also poop. And, anyway, just clicking a radio button can't explain why a thing is totally awesome and better than everything else.

So, here is a thread where you can share your choices for Most Aesthetically Pleasing Game of 2014! Which game would you pick to be your date to your high school reunion to show off what a Successful Human Being you are to attract some arm candy? Which game do you want to listen to on loop forever? Which game caused you to actually lick the screen? Share your choices for the best visions of loveliness!

Last Minute Gift was so beautifully packaged and the entire graphics style was so coherent. The beautiful backgrounds and settings, each area had its own style and flavour to it.

It Moves was just lush and had a ton of great atmospheres and settings that you come to expect from SnowOwl, but he ups the bar every time.

Dreaming Mary is of course a beautiful game as well. It also had fantastic sound as well. The radio voiceover in particular was a highlight.

But if I was to choose a title that wasn't nominated for Best Sound, it has to be Quest Twilight Prince Prophecy Chronicles. Those voiceovers deserve Oscars all round.

I don't feel like I can say much about this category because graphical stuff is not my strong point and I deliberately chose not to play many of the popular games that were praised for their visuals.
I would however like to bring some attention to Razed are the Powerful, Exeunt Omnes, In Arcem Miseria and Last Word.

There were many games which impressed me the graphic way. Some of them with good use of the rtp style, some with custom graphics. I had no problem to cast my vote in this category.
Music on the other hand is bit harsh. I voted for Oneshot's soundy ambient, though there were absolutely some better creations last year. I loved some of the themes used in Sunken Spire. They gave me that high gear feel, I remembered from animes. They made me feel cool.
Shippa La Sempu also succeed in borders of the genre and the sound seems appropriate speeding up the game. My opinion here may differ from Tunger's.
I'm just gonna gratuitously ignore the real point of the thread (extrapolating from the non-serious sounding OP to assume I totally can) to nominate the worst smelling game of 2014. It doesn't count as an advertisement because it smells so bad that no one can stay on the gamepage for more than a few seconds anyway (all the downloads so far are because I hotlinked it somewhere I think).

I'm not assuming it smells based on statistics. It honestly does. Very much.

This is like the marketing for Earthbound. Too bad we don't have scratch-n-sniff monitors.
