I am not watching the olympics because I do not agree with China's policies.

I don't agree with your policies but I'm watching you.
Favourite team is obviously Team GB but they'll win so little compared to USAss. I think it'll be in the ratio of the average weight of the population.

Michael Phelps fucking owned the swimming.
i saw the reley race, that was fucking impressive
I say that michael phelps its a genetic mutant that can swim to incredible speed jajajajajajajajaja. :o he swim very fast
This is the saddest Olympics since the spark of the crowd is lesser than any other event. Athens is still the best :<
I had a particular interest in this year's olympics because of SHAWN JOHNSON, Iowa's "golden girl" who happens to be from West Des Moines, my hometown. Nothing ever happens in Iowa so it's a really big deal to have a world champion from our hometown.

Canada IS FINALLY GOING TO WIN SOMETHING!!! (...****!)
Carol Huynh is in the finals for wrestling for 48 kg. She will be facing Chiharu Icho of Japan
I hope she wins! This will be great because British Columbia is always dissed by the eastern stations, how sweet will it be to rub it in their faces! BC won the first medal!!! ^^
As for everything non-canadian, it's been a bit of a shallow Olympics. China is only winning because they are the hosts (that woman in the gymnastics SHOULD never have won the bronze, she slipped and screwed up SO many times)
And everywhere you go it's USA this...and USA that. It's a bit annoying I guess, but I do enjoy watching Phelps going for the record! (one more!) :)

Canada's medal drought is FINALLY over.
Canada's more of Winter olympics kind of country...
Canada's medal drought in Beijing is over - and it came to an end in fine fashion with a medal of each colour in just under an hour on Saturday. Freestyle wrestler Carol Huynh won the women's 48-kilogram final about 20 minutes after rowers Dave Calder and Scott Frandsen finished second in the men's pair. About 25 minutes after Huynh's win, fellow wrestler Tonya Verbeek claimed bronze in the 55-kilogram event.

Nice, that's a relief.
About the Winter Olympics; did Canada exceptionally well during the last one? I'm Canadian yet I don't remember watching the Winter Olympics that actively. :/

Not watching the Olympics is fine. Not watching the Olympics because of China is stupid.
Shawn Johnson is such a little champion. I've rarely if ever seen that kind of strength of character. Even though Nastia Liukin was the inevitable gold medalist for women's gym, she still did the best floor routine of her life and congratulated the hell out of nastia, even though Shawn was heavily favored to sweep gold. ...Iowa represent!
Yesssssss the incridible mexico have win 1 medal of bronze (thats one of the things I hate of my country >:(jajajajaja)
I have been watching a little bit of the table tennis. Currently the greatest olympic sport to ever been played. ;D And Michael Phelps is a swimming machine with all those medals.
