.:Top Ten Most Memorable Video Moments:.
This is to state your best favorite moments. Now this isn't to state that you got the high-score but rather to state things that you accomplished that made your day for you. Things that made you say "yes I did it!".
10. Defeating the Elite 4(Pokemon Crystal)
Probably the first greatest moment of my video game life, defeating the Elite 4 made me some happy and glad. It gave me immense satisfaction after a lot of tries. Definably something I will always remember.
9.Getting the Secret Ending(Kingdom Heats)
Probably one of the most frustrated things getting all those darn Dalmations.
8.Finally Beating ToS(Tales of Symphonia)
Ok you either bet an RPG or quit out of frustration it was a little of both here. I remember thinking to myself I'll never play this again next thing I know I'm at the Final boss. Battle was epic and I was having fun and sweating at the same time. Finally I got the ending, definatly worth it.
7. Sephiroth!(Kingdom Hearts 2)
Everyone knows the best thing about the Kingdom Hearts games is defeating the hardest boss Sephiroth. I hope I'm spelling it right, took me 20 tries and alot of training but I was finally able to pull through and defeat Sephiroth one on one.
6.Hades Cup(Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2)
Ok last Kingdom Hearts accomplishment, beating all the 50 matches of the Hades Cup was grueling for me anyway. I felt extreme satisfaction after beating Leon, Cloud, Tifa, and Yuffie at the same time. I thought to myself "oh crap" when I played that match. I will admit though it wasn't all that epic attack-heal-fly around till MP charged back up. Rinse and Repeat.
5. Beating Coco Puffs Skater(Coco Puff Game)
I never thought a game that comes in a cereal box could be so challenging. This I can't believe how many tries it took me, finally my friend told me to try it again as if my friend was a good luck charm, I finally conquered it barely though.
4.Final Hazard Destroyed!(Sonic Adventure 2: Battle)
I remember when I was facing this boss I had everything ready so it wouldn't get in my way and I was saying to my T.V "Alright time to finish this".
3.StarWolf!(StarFox 64)
Lets take a trip back to the Nintendo 64 days where Nintendo actually cared. StarFox 64 was a game I absolutley loved and beating StarWolf instead of letting the bomb blow up was awesome I thought. "Uncle Andross!" was definatley the best line ever made in that game.
2. Beating Venom (Spiderman for PC)
Ok before the movies ever came out there was a 3d Spiderman game that I got after submitting so many tokens from cereal boxes. I remember my favorite and most memorable part of that game was finally defeating Venom even if he wasn't the last boss thinking I had defeated my own nightmares.Pretty deep I know.
1. NYX AVATAR (Persona 3)
Finally at the number 1# spot Nyx Avatar, beating her or him never could tell. It was the most satisfying moment probably of my video game life. Battle took an hour and a half each time I faced her after. So it was epic finally even after resisting Night Queen I was able to strike the final blow and destroy her/him for good.

Oops, misread. I had some "Fuck yeah!" scenes in here, so now I'm down to four. A better name would probably be "Top Ten Gameplay Achievements" or something.
4) Killing Dr. Ion on Level 3 without Roulette moves or God Hand, God Hand
First boss who I got a good strategy for. I could reliably dodge his moves, stun him, and pummel him into his next form. No special moves required. Later did the same thing to 1st/2nd Elvis and 1st Adell (but only on level 1).
(And Demon Form Shannon is just easy.)
3) Dropping Evil Kongming, Legend of Cao Cao
Things were turning real bleak. Respawning Heroes are almost impossible to get by, I dind't have any good offensive mages, the boss was out of range, and my troops were lied up to suck up ultimate fire tactics (because of the map). I put everything I could into making a path to Evil Kongming and sending Guan Yu, the only guy who could get through the path (he can move around enemy units freely. Everyone else could move a square or two in but that's it), and attack EK. He managed to double hit him, one being a crit, which dropped EK. Great final battle.
2) Wu Zhang Plains, Wei side, Hard Mode, Dynasty Warriors 3
Wu Zhang Plains is my favorite battle in Dynasty Warriors 3 and it can be pretty damn hard (I have no idea how you can do it on Very Hard). Played as Zhang Liao and went to stomp on Shu. Amazingly Sima Yi, the commander who can't die else you lose, decided to tag along. I cleared out three corners, gaining whatever allies I managed to save (and a whole messload of troops too). After clearing out the third corner, my allies in the fourth managed to take out Shu there with one general survivor (Cao Hong, a generic!) which almost never happens. Everybody met up to assault the enemy HQ and my allies just tore Shu apart, leaving Zhuge Liang for me with a whole lot of meat shields on my side.
1) Wandering around at night for the first time, Quest for Glory 4
Its been probably 8 years since I first played QfG4. The townspeople talk about how dangerous it is at nightime and the forest looks a lot more sinister at nighttime. I was scared to be caught out at night but you can't do half the game without exploring at night so I eventually did. I was absolutely terrified (but that's mostly due to imagination going wild) but it was also incredibly thrilling.
Even killed a Wraith. :)

Defeating the Dragonlord in Dragon Warrior for the first time. Man, for an RPG, that game is hard. Plus, I was like 9 years old at the time.
Renting an imported Super Mario Bros 3 from our local video store. SMB3 had so much hype and was just so awesome (anyone remember The Wizard?) when we played it. Of course it was all japanese, but still awesome.
Playing Prince of Persia: Sands of Time for the first time. I was blown away by the world and detailed setting. It probably helped that I didn't care much for video game consoles after becoming jaded with the N64 and never owning or bothering to play a PS2 or Xbox before. So the jump in graphics and atmosphere was quite shocking to me. Plus, Sands of Time was such a solid game.
The discovery of RPG Maker. Seriously, I've been designing elaborate RPGs in my little notebooks since I was 13 years old (when Final Fantasy III came out for the SNES). I was like, "FFIII is so awesome! I want to make a game just as awesome!" I didn't know about RPG Maker until RM2k came out.
Playing C&C95 on Westwood Online and pwning everyone. I didn't play 175 games a month like the people who topped the ladder, but I managed to get myself to #13 in the rankings. Mostly by playing those in the Top 10 and not losing. Man, I was so hardcore into that game.
Playing DOOM for the first time. Game was freaky! We played it on my friends sweet 386 with 4 MB OF RAM! Awesome.

10. Beating Morrowind through some cheap exploit (there are several) after killing off an NPC essential to completing the main storyline.
9. Most Final Fantasy games: Killing some boss with an elixir. Particularly awesome in Final Fantasy IV DS when Lugae casts reverse on everyone, which makes him vulnerable to death by elixir.
8. Breath of Fire IV: Choosing to join with the bad guy at the very end of the game, and instead of fighting him, fighting your former party members as the final boss and slaughtering them.
7. Dragon Quest 8: Transforming into a bird and flying around the first time.
6. Halo 3: Drunken local multiplayer matches with grotesquely unbalanced match rules.
5. Bioshock: The amazing intro scene.
4. Dragon Quest 1: Deciding to join up with the Dragonlord and getting a game over after struggling so hard to get to him (seriously that dungeon is rough).
3. Final Fantasy IV DS: Learning that the old way to beat Bahamut doesn't work and that WIP's retard method is the way to go.
2. Ninja Gaiden 2: Getting killed by the exploding armadillo boss (jesus that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in a video game).
1. Dragon Kingdoms 5: That enormous blue MS Paint whale that was beached out in the wilderness that I couldn't interact with.

4. Playing "Through the Fire and Flames" for the first time during the credits (Guitar Hero III)
Never had so much overall fun playing a video game in my life.
3. Chrono's Dying and Resurrection sequence (Chrono Trigger)
I was young enough at the time to feel like a real friend had died. My nerdy buddies in school got pissed at me for spoiling it since I just couldn't help tell everyone who would care that Chrono died.
2. Getting Terra back in the World of Ruin (FF6)
My whole life I've been really attached to one person at a time, be they a family member, best friend, or girlfriend/fiance. When I'm with them, I'm "home" whether or not I'm in a house. Terra was like "home" to me, and somewhat inexplicably, I felt SO much better after I finally got her back in the WoR. Again, I was like 12.
1. Finally getting the AIRSHIP after the horrifying ice cave (FF1)
Not much to be said here. The most frustrating and punishing dungeon in RPG history is the ice cave. Running away is a core strategy there!

Watching my at-the-time-girlfriend as she plays (and enjoys) Diablo 2.
My wife and I still play Diablo 2 regularly. In fact, we just played through Act II on Hell difficulty a couple of nights ago.

I ended up with the most video game hating girl in the world. I'm jealous :(
This time I don't have any real order. I just come up with them as I go along.
Beating Manchester United (Championship Manager 97/98)
I was a third division team (Scarborough) and had been fighting my way through the FA Cup and in the semi-final (I think it was) I was up against the mammoth of Manchester United. I pour all my heart into that game. Making sure my players were at the top of their game.
I won 2-1 and it felt awesome. Especially considering that the team (despite playing for over ten seasons) never made it out of the third division.
Playing through Nintendo World Cup co-operatively on Ice
Nintendo World cup is an awesomely violent football game. And you can play it on multiple surfaces. The rocky one where people stumble and the ice one are the two that are the most fun. There's something awesome about being slide-tackled and then sliding over the whole field.
Playing it co-operatively is even more awesome.
Beating Tecmo World Cup
Another football game. Strange how these appear. We were a gang of guys who cheered and played Tecmo World Cup quite a bit. Fighting our way through super shots and impossible Russian goalkeepers. I'm fairly certain it took several weeks from our escapades into the quarter finals to get to that final game vs Brazil and beat their asses.
Good memories. I even made a board game inspired by Tecmo World Cup and the whole concept with super shots and other fun stuff has made this one of my favorite football games every. Why don't people do RPG-Football mashups anymore?
Beating Super Mario Bros ten time
This was actually pretty stupid. But a lame rumour went around the neighbourhood that if you played through SMB ten times Mario would, instead of jumping regularily, do somersaults. So we sort of sat out to prove that this was most definitely not the case. So we sat down and played some Super Mario Bros for a couple of hours.
Still Alive
Playing through Portal, having an awesome time and then being rewarded by that awesome song. I had been looking around internet and found that there was SOME meme going on. And that there was SOME awesome song around. But I didn't know where, how or what. I was immediately sucked inand it was aweseome. And I loved it.
Playing Perfect Dark with my sister
Perfect Dark's multiplayer was something special and fun. Playing co-operatively against an assortment of bots made for every skill level out there. It was fun and me and my sister player a lot of that game over one year.
Final Fantasy VIII Hype
This was during my early days of internet and I remember going around for everything Final Fantasy since I was a huge Final Fantasy fag after playing VII. There was something awesome about this video and my hopes were sickeningly high.
That part of the game did deliver. But by the end of the game I had already begun my road towards disliking jRPGs. I never finished IX, feeling it was just the same thing over again. And meanwhile I had played a lot of they're-all-the-same SNES RPGs as well as finding the awesome that was Fallout.
FFVIII was my last great jRPG experience. And it was really great in the beginning.
Getting my NES
I remember this day like it was yesterday. It was my first summer holiday from school and I was visiting some relatives over a couple of days. It wasn't exactly the greatest of times but I managed. When my parents came to get me they told me we had a NES!
It still bugs me a bit today that everyone else in the family got to play that thing before me.
Finding RPG Maker
Now I hate RPGMaker as much as anyone else, but upon finding it the first time it was the awesomest thing ever. Finally I could realize my gamemaking dreams, even if it was in a jRPG format. During my first day of having the program I'd already made my first town, with puzzles and a lame dungeon and I was well on my way. Obviously that early game sucked big balls but it was also my path to the gamemaking community that I've been part of now for far too long.
I don't know how many this is but I'm sure it's enough for now. It's getting more forced by the minute 8^)

If I recall it is also the only way to get a complete game over as well. It takes you completely by surprise!
I know I say this all the time but it's awesome that Dragon Quest games are as cut-from-the-mold as jRPGs get but they are also so innovative and daring.
I can only think of 5.
5. Defeating Yiazmat in FFXII- This bastard had over 50 million health and took me about 3 hours to defeat him. Overall it was an intense fight and i just barely won.
4. Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core- I had been waiting to play this game for ages and it was awesome when it finally came out.
3. Age of Empires- Getting destroyed by the opposing army and throwing my mouse out the window in rage.
2. RPG maker- I was excited when i discovered this especially when thinking about making my own games. Now it controls most of my life.
1. Final Fantasy 1- Playing the first ever Final Fantasy game and i was really young when it first came out. This game was the best.

Final Fantasy VIII
Defeating Ultima Weapon with only one character still alive (barely - Selphie's 'The End' was a blessing)
Lufia II
Finally completing the 100 floor dungeon and defeating the boss. Also defeating Gades in the first fight against him and getting his sword.
Breath of Fire II
Actually buying the game after spending years having to hire it out again and again to find my save data deleted. Still have it. ^.^
Also managing to accidentally find Bleu and getting the good ending.
Suikoden II
Defeating Luca Blight and actually beating him in each of the three fights before his death. Go the grind! ^.^
Also saving Ridley in the 'war battle' before he got recaptured.
I'll try to think of more.

1) Losing to Nyx after defeating Nyx Avatar (Persona 3)
They say it's impossible to lose the very last vent fight in P3, but I proved them wrong by casting Total Reversal with a level 97 Abaddon. Then, when my friends' "belief in me" healed me for 999, it turned into damage.
2) Losing to Yu Yevon (FFX)
Another loss in an guaranteed victory battle. I equipped my characters with Stonestrike weapons and went for it.
3) Beating "The Answer" (PERSONA 3: FES)
Erebus is a DICK. I got REAL tired of 9999 damage to my main character. (Of course, all of my characters where level one so I guess it's my fault.)
4) Beating Nemesis in one shot. (FFX)
Zanmato OWNS. Yojimbo ftw.
5) Penance cheese (FFX)
Also Zanmato. Zanmato for prez.
6) Yiazmat with Level 1/1/1/2/2/3 (FFXII)
Yiazmat with bottom-level characters was PERFECT. Especially since I shot him from outside his attack range.
7) The Cow Level (Diablo II)
They speak the word "Moo". It's hilarious - you'll die laughing.
8. Disc Read Error (FFX/FFXII)
I was bored, so I swapped discs while it was loading, and I had Tidus instead of Vaan. Wtf?
9) RPG Maker (PC)
If you need an explaination of what this is, die.

10 - Beating Guitar Hero 2 on Hard for the first time (Guitar Hero 2)
Yes I know I've not beaten Expert yet, I'm a wuss. But still, playing Freebird at Stonehenge while a UFO hovered above me. Brilliant.
9 - The Great Wall of China (Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped)
Riding the tiger down the Great Wall kicked arse, simple as.
8 - The T Rex (Tomb Raider)
My God that thing shit me up nicely! It's a shame the battle's nowhere near as epic in Anniversary...
7 - Sky Chase Zone (Sonic 2)
Just before the finale that is the Wing Fortress and Death Egg we're treated to a unique level where you're on the front of Tails' biplane in hot pursuit of Robotnik!
6 - "Grow a pair of balls!" (Rainbow Six: Vegas)
The first time I heard this, I laughed. Honourable mentions go to "Fuck you, he was my friend!" and "Bitch owed me money man..."
5 - Escaping the ship (TimeSplitters 2)
When all the time crystals has safely been recovered there was only one task left, get the hell back to your ship without dying!
4 - Mother Brain (Metroid: Zero Mission)
Just a great boss battle
3 - Odin vs Seifer (Final Fantasy VIII)
Half way through a final showdown with Seifer before going to Ultimecia's Castle. Suddenly, Odin runs in to take care of our blonde friend when bam! Siefer takes him out and Gilgamesh is born!
2 - Metal Sonic (Sonic 3 and Knuckles)
I've always been a fan of Metal Sonic, and getting to battle him so fiercly at the end of Sonic 3 and Knuckles was fantastic. You take him down in several of Robotnik's most memorable machines from the first two games before he takes you on one-on-one, mimicking the Metal Sonic routine from Sonic 2. Even after beating him again, and leaving him to fall with the destruction of the Sky Sanctuary he still manages to take on Knuckles and even jumps on the Master Emerald to take on a Super form! Best Sonic villain ever, if just for persistance.
1 - Beating Metal Gear Solid for the first time
Taking on Metal Gear Rex, watching Grey Fox die, having a fist fight with Liquid before a dramatic jeep chase and then finally, the ending... I felt so satisfied and immediately started a second playthrough making an effort to keep Meryl alive this time, and a third for the tuxedo Snake and alternate colour Ninja
