Still deciding on colors for his armor. Also, I'm really not happy with the eyes. I'm gonna end up just redrawing the entire thing, especially since this is just concept art, and not final.

Despite it being a WIP, I think it looks great as it is XD the colours are very striking.

Hey, Suzy! Haven't seen you in a while. I was really wondering where you went! I'm really glad you liked Aeyr's design! I actually redid that and finally finished his armor coloring. I'll probably save that for another dump, though.

Thanks! I had spent the last month studying anatomy, different inking, coloring, and shading techniques, and learning new tool in Paint Tool Sai, to the point where I wasn't actually getting anything DONE. Really glad to see it paid off, though, as it makes all that time worth it!

Thanks, Luchino! Yeah, you're almost right! It's not just Mia, almost ALL these characters are inspired by Fire Emblem! It's less prominent in Aeyr (but more so in the one that Suzy quoted), but it should be more visible in Amalie and Mia. FE's armor designs are simple to draw, yet believable and effective. It's perfect for me. To keep from just flat out copying them, I tried to put my own spin on their designs to make them stand out more. It's easier to do on some than others.

And about Mia's design, at first I was a bit confused when you mentioned the hair and eye color, but then I went and googled Mia's design and, yep, same hair and eyes. Unfortunately, that similarity was completely coincidental! Believe it or not, I actually used Petrine as a base when coming up with Mia's new outfit. Using her as a base, I changed around her armor to suggest more mobility until I arrived at the result shown. Thinking on it now, Mia probably would have been a much more appropriate base to start from.
