Brand new Suikoden game! I must say I am quite impressed with the scans.

Quick overview:
4-person battles
Polygonal characters with 3D battles, 2D maps
Looks like it has some pretty good production values

This actually might make me by a console for the first time in a decade. Damn ... 2D maps. Ahh I miss the old days. Shit, this might actually convince me to chip out money to get this thing.

This looks pretty sweet. I love Suikoden games! It's too bad that the actual RPG mechanics are always terrible and it is painful to go through dungeons :(

Really? I always thought the 2D Suikodens had easy dungeons.

Anyways this looks fantastic.. Wish it was also on the PSP though. Oh well by the time this game comes stateside let alone New Zealand I should be able to afford a DS.

I'm just waiting for the soundtrack.

But uh, it looks alright. I haven't played a Suikoden since the second one, so I'll have to see how this is. I like the series, but I've seen so many different views on the ones that came out on PS2, I'm not sure which one to get. I'm assuming they're all decent games, though.
