Alright sorry about double posting but the thread is kind of dying, and Cap sent me a PM saying he'll be gone for a few weeks(Probably until the end of summer) and he asked me to take the thread over while he's gone.

Pretty lovely screenie, Extreemy! The map is pretty well-made. I liked the butterflies, but where are the birds? The love birds (not counting the couple)?
The heart panorama is nice, but having it before the map makes the low image quality stand out. The graphics are nice, but they're a bit rough and fuzzy 'round the edges.

The heart frame is originally not there, I added that from GIMP. I know it doesn't look very good, but there aren't many heart frames without watermarks on them >_<
Hey, uh... Any chance this thread's still awake? It's a little early to be hibernating... Wanted to post a map for this week, but if nobody has any objections, I'll just work off the holiday theme.

Why do you expect people to specifically use mack tiles? O.o
I'll give you two guesses.
Obviously because Mack has some of the best undeground tiles, especially in rpg maker 2003.
But yeah it's not a rule just a guess that people will use Mack a lot.
Ah, I see. I don't know much about the pre-VX engines or their resources. Nice to hear about the quantity of dungeon tiles though. Most tiles released nowadays mostly seem to be variations of trees.
True that, but that is mostly useful for people too, as most rpgs have forests.

That's pretty neat, though could add some more decorations to the walls, like lanterns and cracks.
I've always thought it was weird when people mix rounded cliff edges with straight ones. Either they're straight-ish ala VX, or they're all rounded like the bottom parts of your map.

I see that, but then I feel like it should be possible to walk under the wall tiles following the line of the round edge.
Not to say that nothing can be adaptable though.
