Will be making my first Renpy Game.

(Is this okay to post here?)

I have no experience in VN dev, and putting my hands on Fate Stay Night, it felt so bland if not for the artwork.
How far can renpy develop a game system?

If it is story oriented, what makes it a game?
There's a good amount of Renpy games hosted here:

Most of them being Visual Novels, so a focus on the plot with a few choices to pick is totally fine.

I played a couple games that used that engine.
I think its important to have a deep story and interesting characters.
And choices that effect the outcome is important to.

I just looked at the website. I never knew this was free to use:)

(Though already owning Ace and knowing how to use it I could probably get
the same sort of game with that.)

Well, each to their own benefit.
Although rpg, like what it stands, a role-playing game, is a very wide term.

I'd like to think renpy is more flexible than most established softwares at hand...
but it is very raw in comparison to the rest so it's ready to be shaped into anything.

Do you have any games you feel worth the mention?
somrthing story driven and with interesting characters?
