would it be possiable to maybe let some of us on the site to know of the status of RMN3 and a possiable realease date?
Patience is a virtue my friend. Some people on this site already know what it looks like and what's going on with it. If it really interests you that much instead of making this topic you probably should have just pmed WIP or Kentona about it.

Some people on this site already know what it looks like and what's going on with it.
i.e. Curious people like me who found the screenshots of it on a subdomain on the apache server. :-X
It'll be finished when it's finished, for now, just focus on making the current community and site golden, and of course all of that awesomeness will transfer over to RMNv3.

Things are moving pretty well. I am pretty excited to get it up and going because it has a lot of awesome things in it.
One of the reasons for the long development time, was that I am super picky and had to wait for the design to come together.
A note about it: there are going to be some big changes on the way things operate on the new site, so brace yourself for them.
But don't worry, because it will overall be the best experience you can think of for making amateur games.

GW6 and RMN3 are vastly different in their methodologies. RMN3 is a lot different from what people are probably expecting.

That's an under statement, I bet you when they release GW6 it'll be like "This Domain has expired, you need to wait for the user to pay his domain pay" or something like that.

There are a handful of things on RMN3 that really enforce the way I think an amateur game development site should be.

Hahaha, it's an awesome feeling knowing that I've been around since RMN1. Sadly, I can't much remember it's layout.

I remember RMNv1, i liked the game section cause you could organize it by not only the name of the game, but the rating and the athour, other then that i dont remember much about it, because RMN2 is when i started getting active.

I really appreciate what WIP has done in offering us a website that is comepletely user-driven and focuses on encouraging game development and community networking. If RMN3 stays true to these principles I can only see myself being more satisfied.
