I FEEL HORRIBLE

Please let me vent for a bit.
Due to a recent back injury I'm living with back pain constantly. I'm trying to make a new game but I can barely sit and do it. I can't sit for more than 15 minutes without pain. Standing for to long isn't great either. Walking used to help and still does to some extant but even that can be painful now. I'm constantly icing my back taking pills. I'm in and out of the doctors office all the time. I'm in so much agony. I'm tired of this damn pain dictating my life!
Thanks for listening.

Always glad to lend an ear.
Awww I wish you all the best, RedMask. I hope you get better soon and that your back heals and that you will live a good life.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Have you tried transferring your consciousness into a cybernetic entity, evolving into pure energy, buying one of those bed-desks for laptops, or reaching nirvana and transcending the illusion of physical pain?
Ouch, that sounds rather painful! How did you hurt your back, anyway?
Either way, I hope that you can recover from this fast enough and get back into the swing of things eventually. Hopefully those pills that the doctors give you help a bit, and maybe some much needed rest might do the trick, too.
- Here’s hoping that you can manage to pull through this onwards to a speedy recovery.

Have you considered seeing a Chiro? I've been seeing one for the last year every week since I also have chronic pain due to subluxation in my cervical spine and it's helped quite a bit.
I was going to mention trying a standing desk or treadmill desk but sounds like that is painful as well over time.
Also I find meditation/mindfulness can help keep focus off the pain. Not sure if that's something you'd be interested in but it really improved my life.

Seconded. A friend of mine had back issues and she was being stubborn about seeing a chiropractor. I managed to talk her into it and she's a lot better now - gone back to playing basketball like she did before the injury. It's a good idea, if you haven't already.
Sucks that you're in pain though. Hopefully it'll ease off and get better soon.

Depending on the kind of injury, looking into strengthening your back muscles (slowly, of course) may be a good course of action. One of the discs in my father's back became dislocated/was squeezed by the other discs, and wouldn't stay in place, so he had to get surgery and two rods in his back. He takes painkillers in the mornings and evenings, but he also exercises regularly with bike riding and other routines to keep his muscles strong enough to support him.
But, that depends on the injury. Back problems tend to be quite difficult to deal with because of just how unrelenting today's jobs are.

have you tried complaining on the internet
I have a feeling, he did. Turn your misery in a game or a piece of writing about torture.
Thanks for all your support everyone my physical therapist just gave me new exercises so hopefully that will help.
To answer your question a student jumped on my back. The classroom my boss just recently put me in is filled with hypeactive kids its really tough.
I've been to a chiropractor some years ago for a different injury and that did help. Not sure if I should try for that this time though since the doctor says this is a muscle problem.
