CloseWell, I was looking at his profile today because his games had disappeared off site again and I had been planning to put together a review for Soul Crystals and found this message on his profile.
"Red wall 10 has passed away last night."
I don't wish to sound jaded, but if that message is true it's rather depressing.

I don't wish to join the jaded brigade, but since when would someone post on an obscure (in relation to the rest of the internet, don't yell) gaming site news of a person's death the morning after it happened?
If it's true, then my condolences to his friends and family, but given the removal of the games and the fact that sentence suffers from the same issues a lot of his messages contain, I'm reserving judgement.

It could simply be a "metaphorical" death in this case, like he's trying to redeem his former identity by making a new one.

It's not true. He's just changed to a different account. His IP and certain posts support this. It's melodramatic and a bit silly, honestly. :/

Faking death is a cherished tradition of weird drama crazies on the internet. The idea is to a) get people to feel bad for making fun of your idiocy, because now you're dead,* and 2) throw suspicion off of your new alt account because you can't possibly be that guy that posts just like you, he's dead!

Sometimes, even if you don't do it on purpose, you can hurt anothers feelings.
Sometimes I see other players remarks on a new developers game and they are really, really hurtful. The new developer is so proud of what he accomplished and then someone trashes his/her efforts.
Don't forget, someone who is able to make a game like some you see on this site might have a creative streak and people who are creative can also be very easily hurt.
I think I may have said something nice about one of his games so he sent a PM to me about another person attacking him.....

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Speaking as a creative, easily hurt person, that shit is on me. Just as a toddler shouldn't be coddled when it is screaming because you didn't buy it a toy, a creative person shouldn't be kept from blunt criticism.

Why was he banned? I know alt accounts aren't allowed but closing the Redwall account via the 'death' notice and then starting a new account isn't the same thing, is it? As long as he wasn't using both. It's not like he could have deleted his original account since that isn't an option available for members, and most people probably don't know you can get a name change via administrative fiat.
Linkis he sent polite PM's to me too, and I'm one of the many that made mention of his issues with English and offered suggestions as to how he could improve. If feedback wasn't what he was seeking he shouldn't have released his games here, this is an interactive community, not a museum. His last review before he took down his game, for the fourth time by my count, was 2.5 stars, which means it was average, he was hardly being trashed.

There's a long list of things that he's done behind the scenes that have been counting upwards til he hit the number of chances given. The racist comments, stealing others' work and acting like an ass, as well as the duplicate account that he came back to was the last straw.
Ah, I thought as much. I missed that topic somehow. Well you gave him more than enough chances, I'm just glad I never got around to reviewing one of his games. Then again I could never finish any of them, so there's a reason.

Granted, if I were hypothetically a mod I would allow that in like Welp Welp but it's not really appropriate in Help Me.
OK, I wouldn't really allow it, I'd just let him post more before being banned because that is some funny shit.
