[RM2K3] PICSINBATTLE PATCH

I'm having trouble using the PicsInBattle hpa, because I've already patched BetterAEP, have David, and other patches installed. It basically tells me in German this is a strange version of 2k3. When I copypaste my other RTP (which has it) to there, all it succeeds in doing is removing the custom save switch, so I can't save properly. I do not get the PicsInBattle even by copypasting over my RTP.
Can somebody make this into a patch that I can just add in DynRPG? I've got at least four or five patches including text changes, and they are screwing with each other. I need a clean version with all the stuff outside of the RTP.
Also is this moot point with the new 2k3?

About the "new" 2k3, all old "patches" aren't compatible with it. They haven't been updated to work, and for the time being it's uncertain if using them would violate the terms of service. You'll have to probably wait some time before BetterAEP and PicsInBattle can be included again.
I don't have the new 2k3 yet anyway (I don't have a steam account, on account that I forgot my code and so cannot get in with my username/password). So the ips (so long as there isn't a glitch involved in the reason I can't see pictures, in which case I will need to patch from scratch) is perfectly fine for my purposes. Thanks kaine!
Magi, from my understanding (based on similar enhancement software, like Game Genie), the important part of an altering software is it is external to the original software and thus removable (currently, most of the patches and plugins are, however, DynRPG is not auto-running meaning it has to be patched to the RTP), and that it does not compete with the licensed product (it doesn't, rpgmaker is a game maker, the other stuff is code designed to fill in gaps). Essentially, DynRPG needs to function similar to Game Genie in that it can simply be moved off the folder and suddenly the plugins and patches simply get skipped. Until that happens, it is technically a hack of 2k3 and usble by permission only.
If all the hpa ones were either part of the new 2k3 or ips patches, this pretty much solves half the problem by making the patches external. The other half, is making a DynRPG that runs when the game is loaded, simply by being in the same folder.
Update: Urgh, weird. I have to the best of my knowledge, replaced everything. It's still not working. This is with both the ips and the hpa installed.
Update: Figured it out. Something was disabling the first few pictures, so I just switched the picture number and it worked without a hitch.
