So, would it be like how some tactics games do it, where characters would have a phase with which to issue commands, then monsters would get a phase? You would know more about your game than I, so, I'm not quite sure how including the ATB bar would add to this concept. Unless the ATB bar depletes as you issue commands, and when it runs out, players are no longer able to issue commands until it fills back up. Which occurs when enemies take action, presumably.

I dunno about having the ATB bar deplete as players issue commands, and what-not. Perhaps, as an alternate suggestion, give players a certain amount of action points (AP) per turn, then have actions cost various amounts of AP to use?

I think what may be causing a good bit of frustration here is a lack of clarity about what you want help with. Let's look at the overall plot first.

Final Fantasy Genesis takes place in a world with technological settings in between Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII's technological settings. The world is ruled by a benevolent theocracy, Creed, who worships 8 "gods", who are named after espers/summons of the main Final Fantasy Games. Throughout the world are the 8 "graces", each reminiscent to those "gods", which are pretty much centers of their activities and stuff like that. They are mainly inspired off of the garden's from Final Fantasy VIII, especially Balamb garden, in which they look like Christmas ornaments. Going against the ideals of the other Final Fantasy games, magic is highly illegal in Creed law. However, there is a rebellion force, the Order of the Raven, known for their feathery red capes, who believe that that the gods that Creed runs on are false, and are lead by the self-proclaimed "goddess" Mariora, who is highly skilled in magic.

There's a lot workable here already, and there's a clear clash of powers set up. What's needed is the specifics of how this rebellion gets underway, specifically in terms of an RPG with towns, dungeons, gameplay etc in mind, and the cast of characters could use a lot of work, basically in both the characters that you've already created, and in providing future characters to round out the cast.

3. Elius (Wren Creine III)
Gender: Male
Age: 12
Weapon: Big Sword
Look: don't know
Personality: arrogant, control freak, strict, much more mature for his age
About: Even though he is 12 years old, he initially presents himself as "Elius". Later on he's revealed to be Wren Creine III, the high general of Crusade (pretty much the most important military leader). He is a child prodigy, a tactical genius, and though he isn't strong and muscly, his small stature makes him very nimble.
Is a "big sword" for a 12-year old actually just a normal sword that looks big in their hands because they themselves are quite small?

And besides, why the hell would someone who "isn't strong and muscly " use a "big sword" when the fact that they're "very nimble" makes a smaller weapon much more appropriate. If they're such a "tactical genius" then they'd know not to use the wrong weapon for their body-type!

This criticism is a valid one. While Final Fantasy does do whatever it wants and a character concept like that could exist in an FF world, it does seem a little bit of a stretch. He's already got a military rank totally extremely high for his age. Adding in a weapon that would look odd on a twelve-year-old just seems to stretch the character concept even further. You may want to consider a revision.

You don't need to go about responding to all comments that aren't nice as if they were attacks. I'm pretty polite and I try to be nice most the time, but Liberty wasn't doing anything wrong by cutting straight to the point. Instead of taking offense, you may find that answering their questions plainly will work out better. Consider the idea behind the words, free of any perceived hostility, and answer that.

Best of luck! ^_^
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I was trying to nudge you into giving more details, not into blaming the people who are trying to help you. Literally the only thing anyone is asking is what you want us to do. We are falling over backwards trying to help you and begging you to let us do so, and you're responding with "WELL YOU SHOULD ALREADY HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT ME TELLING YOU"

This would be a good point to lock the thread at, I think.
