[RM2K3] HOW TO "SCRIPT"?

So I've hit one minor setback in my game. ...Well, I wouldn't necessarily call it a 'setback' but regardless, is there a way to redirect the menu key to a common event in RM2k3? I know it could be done by messing with the script in VX Ace, but it doesn't seem like that option exists in 2k3. (Tsukuru, btw)

Yes? Simply make two common events. Make one look for the pressing of the cancel key and, once done, turn on a switch which triggers the second event. Easy.

3rd page, enter 'password' (seriously the translation is so fucked up).

Well uh... There's no enter password tab, but there is a Key Input Processing. (This is the Tsukuru edition, maybe thats different from the new 2k3?)

But this otherwise seems like what I'm looking for. Thanks~

No, the Tsukuru version I have has it called 'Enter Password' for some reason. Must be a different (read: worse) translation. But yeah, that's what I meant.
