CloseSo I've been messing with my game lately and I decided to add a font, however I'm wondering what you think? Is it good, do you wanna recommend another?
I'm very resistant to the idea of using handwriting-style fonts as the primary method of delivering all my information. It's fine if you're using it to spruce up your battle command menu or something with repetition we'll see billions of times, but not to draw the bulk of the game's text. Readability is paramount in a game genre where there are thousands of lines of text.
Use a nice serif or sans-serif font and make that the end of it.

I'll take that into mind, sadly I don't know how to edit it so the menu has one font while the text conversations are in a different font

The font in the OP is readable at the size it's being used. I would be careful about making it smaller, though, because the names below the character sprites are getting into hard-to-read territory...

I think handwriting or certain pen-style fonts fall outside those categories? Mind, I'm no expert and am just going by tags I've seen when searching for my own fonts. ^^;;
I prefer using san-serif fonts myself. Not only is it easier to read on almost any plain colour background ( just don't use yellow. Please don't. Blue seems universally accepted because it's the easiest colour on the eyes ) it instantly makes your game appear a little more professional-looking. But the font in the OP is... okay, I guess.

Serif/sans serif refers solely to whether there's little bars on the ends of letters. (Amusingly, the font for typing in the reply window is serif, while the font on the messages themselves are sans.)
But yeah, handwritten fonts are generally just more sans serif.
OP font is good; I can see it working fine for small use, though it might get a little eyestrainy if you're doing anything more than a couple of lines. I'd have to see it in action. Overall, it seems to be designed well enough that it's easily legible, which is unusual for scripty typefaces.
The blue doesn't quite work to my eyes; something wonky with its contrast against the BG. It may need to be lightened a touch. (Though, given I'm the only person who brought that up, maybe just ignore me.)

I am going to use San-serif, sure the font I am showing is pretty, but not subtle. Imagine just having a regular conversation while seeing this very pretty font. It's gonna look strange XD

Stuff like script and decorative fonts can have serifs/lack them, but are usually classified as FANCY being their more prominent feature. Fonts identified primarily by serif or sans concern the function before the design. It's not an exact science though!
