That being said, I will give ilan14 the badge for Red Pepper, because he was being earnest, and add him to the next weeks raffle.
Nice, Boss.
Thanks, boss! I'll make sure to vote for you in the next RMN Overlord Election! :D
And don't worry, I'll make sure to take the rules about review submissions in account for next time.

Feel free to poke me if we've run up against a review event deadline and we need a bunch of reviews accepted.

What I mean is, the way things are now makes it possible for someone to submit a 1-character review as a draft within the time frame and then actually write it later, and keep going even after the deadline, given that they submit it before Solitayre goes on a final round of review checking (which is usually 3-4 days after the deadline).
You're right, but I suppose that a post event bait and switch gives them a much smaller windows in which to do so, but yes you can't eliminate it all, I just think that the system as it currently stands seems to do pretty well. If it changes then it changes.
Though now we do have Solitayre's authorisation to poke him as the need arises, which is a useful permission to have.
@nhubi: you said a person can put in multiple reviews in draft and hold them for an event. I have a bit of a problem with this notion. I mean if you really wanted to do this you should be saving the files to word and adding the images anytime you want to your locker. Also if the said person started writing the review in a previous week of the raffle, but wasn't accepted to well after (ie. the next week.) Would that count towards the previous week? No, because reviews still need to go through an approval process. A review that gets denied won't be eligible for the achievement or raffle until it meets the criteria and is re-submitted. I see how it can be a problem for Kentona to know which ones are eligible though, but the system should not count the review as submitted if it's in draft (also should be reset if the review is denied perhaps.) This way we could still have the date as submitted, but be fair to those people who have drafts or get denied. Sorry if this didn't make too much sense, sort of did in my head. But I agree with Illan14 on this one. The other solution is to make it clear in the rules about drafts or denials not counting towards these events (even though the drafts could have been started in drafts during a legal portion of the event. To go a bit extreme with this idea I could have submitted a draft 5 years ago during an event, but then just hit the submit button now. Because of my time stamp I should count towards that old event. You either have to count it towards the old event, the new event, or not count it at all. But it needs to be made clear or fixed.)
*phew* Just managed to submit my review in just in the nick of time… (and it’s a real doozy!)
Now I go sleep, now…

Yeah sorry Kory you've lost me there, either way Kentona's made a ruling so we're all good.
Looking forward to it.

Last time around, as well as it should be here, reviews that are later approved will count for the achievment of the previous week. As the raffle is made at a certain point of time, you will still be excluded from that.
There are many cheap systems to avoid and abuse this feature for events, but we can count on peeps being fairly trustworthy here.
However, making the easiest and most comfortable way unavailable is a good thing. People love comfort above all else, anyway.

Time to start on the next one. I was thinking about some of the entries from the Golden Week, but I think most of those are going to get a spit and polish over the next few weeks, so it's time to dive into the pile of unreviewed and mostly forgotten games on my list.
The week of the Mint is now over. The next and final jelly is, in fact, Chokecherry Jelly
The fruits are about 0.4 inch (1 cm) diameter, range in color from bright red to black, with a very astringent taste, being both somewhat sour and somewhat bitter.
You should try one sometime. The chokecherry is very aptly named.
Get on it!

GET OUT OF MY HEAD
Don't blame me. Blame the hivemind called Canada.
I'm a little short on free time this week. Technically speaking, if I were to start a Draft today and submit it Monday after the deadline, would it still count for this week?
