I don't know much about english films.

I guess one of my favorites that hasn't been mentioned in this thread yet is Shaolin Soccer. A silly pseudo comedy that features former shaolin monks in various states of poverty suddenly realizing they can make it big in the world of soccer.

Mexican films? Those i've got a few favorites, but i'd say the best one i've seen is Matando Cabos. If you can find a version with english subtitles i'd like for more people to see it. It's a pretty good depiction of a mexican story where a small mistake goes from bad to worse until it becomes a complete catastrophe, in which the protagonists struggle to repair their wrongs in whatever way they can, until everything is resolved by the untameable hands of fate. It's also a comedy.
I'm admittedly not much of a movie person (I'm trying to change that) but I think my favorite movie's Wall-e. Though it is just some animated kid's movie, I love everything about it.
Nah man, Pixar's movies have universal appeal. Kids are certainly their primary audience, but there's a lot of great stuff in Pixar's movies for us older folks as well.

I watch them for the kid stuff, and I am not ashamed.
