Anyone here play Cards Against Humanity? Specifically the online clone, Pretend You're Xyzzy?
RMN has a lot of sick people, so I figured I'd ask! I'm an avid player of both the physical boxed game and the online clone. I play with family/friends with the physical copy, but only strangers online. I thought it would be cool to see if anyone from RMN plays, thereby removing the aspect of only playing with strangers!
We could have scheduled RMN games if anyone's up for it, and maybe even make an RMN Cardcast deck (Cardcast allows you to make your own custom decks for various incarnations of CAH as well as Pretend You're Xyzzy).
But URPC, I don't even know what this game is!
That's okay, I can help you there! READ, RULES:
To start the game, each player draws ten White Cards.
The person who most recently pooped begins as the Card Czar and plays a Black Card.
The Card Czar reads the question or fill-in-the-blank phrase on the Black Card out loud.
Everyone else answers the question or fills in the blank by passing one White Card, face down, to the Card Czar.
The Card Czar shuffles all of the answers and shares each card combination with the group. For full effect, the Card Czar should usually re-read the Black Card before presenting each answer. The Card Czar then picks the funniest play, and whoever submitted it gets one Awesome Point.
After the round, a new player becomes the Card Czar, and everyone draws back up to ten White Cards
If the first round Czar played a black card that read "_____. That's my fetish.", then the rest of the players would have to pick the best/funniest card to fill in the blank. It's a REALLY easy game to grasp.
So, anyone interested in having a go at some online games? If there's enough interest in playing, we could even come up with a Cardcast deck. "Cards Against RMN" or something of the sort.
I have recently learned about and installed the Evil Apples app on my phone. Haven't even launched it yet.
Thanks to the "RMXP" in the title, I assumed this was about a Cards Against Humanity RPG Maker game XD
Cards Against Humanity is my favorite drunk party game next to 'Say The Same Thing'. It really brings out the animal in people.

Huh! Not too sure how that happened.
there's an interesting breakdown I read once about CaH's niche and primary function -- essentially the same purpose as 'groaner' jokes, where it takes the burden of being funny off the teller by unifying the teller and the listeners against the joke itself. by making it a thing of premade cards, it frees the person telling the joke from responsibility, and softens a terrible punchline into something silly and unpredictable. it's kind of a cool subject!
aside from that I'm not really interested in playing it, though. most of its substance seems like incredibly generic edgy-white-guy humour.

Hm! I can't tell if there is interest or not. I shall bug RMNers on Slack after my food order arrives.

I'd like to read more about that. What's the phenomenon properly called?

If you don't play with 30 blank cards mixed in, you're not doing it right. ^.^
Also, you can make your own sets to play with. Which is a LOT of fun when you get a group of friends together with in-jokes and just customise the hell out of them.
I saw big black dick and was intrigued.
We should make an RMN pack but the funniest jokes are the worst ones, so everyone would have to be open to being lampooned and insulted in some way.
I mean, among friends it's one thing, since most in-jokes can be hilariously insulting or awkward and while people on this site might be friendly, and certain groups are friends, but some of the stuff can be a bit 'on the nose' and easy to take offense to, even if it is all in fun.
That said, if you are open to being lampooned and insulted in horrible (and horribly funny) ways, throwing your name in the 'kitty' for a pesonalised pack...
