WHAT’S YOUR ALL-TIME FAVORITE CHOCOLATE BAR?
Posts

Considering that they’re putting up all the Halloween candy rather early in the stores every single blasted year.
- So we all like eating mounds and mounds of delicious, delicious sweet chocolate, right? (Don’t you lie.) Of course you do! (Otherwise why would you even click on this thread in the first place, you health nut.)
Chocolate is not only satisfyingly yummy in the tummy but it also gives you that intensive “sugar rush,” or “sugar high,” that’s often needed to wake yourself up from that slight depression of yours in life or get those creative juices flowing for what seemingly only feels like only just a mere second. And when there are no energy drinks or high stacks of pots of coffee around nearby to do the trick - chocolate is often your only salvation.
So with all the seemingly huge and endless supply of many different chocolate bars out there, both inexpensive and cheap, that are sitting on the shelf melting away in the hot, hot sticky sun – which one of them is your all-time favorite? And if you used to eat chocolate bars before you had to cut them down for some unknown reason (you poor, poor ba*tard, you…), which one of them did you used to eat the most beforehand? (You know...when you used to be cool...)
I’ve had many different favorite chocolate bars over the years myself, but the all-time classic for me will always be a “Coffee Crisp.” I always liked the taste of it and the vanilla flavored wavers were always really good. I always get reminded of the good ol’ days whenever I eat one of those.
- So what's yours?

They told me I was mad when I said I was going to create a spidertable. Who’s laughing now!!!

Cadbury Creme Egg. Sadly, they no longer exist in the US since Hershey basically owns them and uses their inferior US recipe. (AND OUTLAW IMPORTATION OF THE REAL SHIT, THE BASTARDS)
I have strong feelings about candy
Almond Joy is good too. Mmmmm coconut.

I'm not much on sweet stuff anymore, but I've always had a soft spot for Kit-Kats and Twix.
You Americans make me jealous, cause you have this fucking thing:
Which used to be my favourite candy bar of all time, Hershey Sidekick, until they randomly decided it wasn't cool to distribute it in Canada anymore:
What I wouldn't do for a fucking Sidekick. It's been like 10 years.

Mr. Big for its size (I don't remember the taste)
Milky Way and local bars Kofila and Chestnuts for their tastes.

TwixTwixTwix yes
Though I also like the dark chocolate Toblerone, and pretty much anything with mint in it ('specially if you mix dark chocolate with mint, I've got to see if they DO make Hershey's Dark chocolate with mint, because if they do I need some of that).

My favorite is Reese's peanut butter cups (I see in your image that they count). If they don't count, Butterfinger.

All the Canadian candy and the fact that we're entering the Halloween Season has reminded me of this and I feel everyone should enjoy it:
I'd say Coffee Crisp. It's not too sweet and I love the taste of coffee in desserts (I never drink coffee though).
Not considered a chocolate bar but Ferrero Rocher is my absolute favorite chocolaty sweet :3

Ohhh - I remember that chocolate bar! I used to eat those things all the time when I was working at Safeway until it just flat out disappeared one day and we just stopped stocking them altogether. Every time I was working on checkout #1 by the front entrance those delicious temptations would be constantly staring at me from afar…waiting to be eaten. Now I want one more than ever! *drools*
As for Reeses, I like them when you first chill them in fridge before you eat them. But nine times out of ten I don’t have that much patience for that and I just eat as it is.
And, yay, Avee is a fan of Coffee Crisp too! :D
(Now gimme all your remaining Coffee Crisp’s. GIMME!!!)
I first though Riesen, but I realized in the "bar" there are individual pieces so not really a bar.
It'd probably be Daim, Japp or Tupla. (the Dumle bar is also decent but not as good as the individual Dumle chocolates)

I've never heard of Reeses, but now I have new life goals.
Love Kitkats, they have block ones as well now which I'm addicted too.

Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (that's right - in Canada they still come in a 3 pack. they tried to downsize to a 2 pack but there was an uproar.)
E:
WTF is wrong with me. My favourite is easily:

Oh Henry! Peanut Butter
oh my, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups :( brings back a bad memory. :)
When I was a wee tike, about 11yrs of age.
My friends and I stole several boxes of the small ones, like 20 to a box.
I ate a whole box, got sick, went home and my meany mother took me back to
Woolworths and made me apologize to the lady, and pay for what we had stolen :(
BUT I STILL LIKE TO EAT THEM :) hahahahahahaha

There's a university about 10 mins bike ride from our house that had both a carabao farm and a cacao plantation. During harvest season, they set up shop in their gates and sell milk-chocolate bars, candy, and ice cream. I can attest that it tastes waaaay better than most factory chocolate. And it's cheaper too, at 5-ish pesos apiece (about 0.1$, I think).
Though I guess not that many people are into carabao milk, or home-grown chocolate, for that matter :\
