HOW OFTEN ON RM?
Posts
Nevermind. There's too much of this shit in every other thread I post in.
Kentona, were you working that little on Hero's Realm when you first released it, way back when? Because I remember that game coming along REALLY fast.
author=Max McGee link=topic=1940.msg31917#msg31917 date=1221511969That number is the more recent input I'm making (and probably a pretty good average over its 2 AND A HALF YEAR DEVELOPMENT TIME. yeesh, I'm slow).DOES ANYONE WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THE TROUBLE OF BEING UNEMPLOYED?

Yes, at the start I was all GO! GO! GO! (from zero to Chapter 1 in a month), and then there was a lull, then another peak, then lull, then peak, then massive lull, then 17 intense days working on Hellion, then lull....(fast forward 2 years)...., then here we are with me putting in 2-3 hours per week.
EDIT:
I've been really itching to put in another "peak" in to Hero's Realm - it's during those times I get the most done. A "peak" for me is like 5 to 15 days of 5+ hours of work into the game. I just don't have the free time. *sigh*

That being said, I spend roughly...2-3 hours per week actually working on my games.
I get my hour lunch break daily to work on my game. Sometimes I'll spend a little time at home while I'm raiding WoW.
Yeah, i've been finding myself designing my game at work more than i do at home. But eventually the workload catches up.

I am the head manager of a restaurant. When i say the workload is catching up i mean by all the paperwork and forms i have to fill out, rosters, dealing with customers etc.

That's cool. What type of restaurant is it? I've always wanted to be a chef.
Oh, and I use RPGmaker often. I am on it right now. I don't normally use test players (I know how to "break" my own game better than anyone) so that's what I'm doing.
While watching a documentary of the sexual revolution.

lol olive garden
hey--olive garden is pretty delicious. (I had it for the first time two nights ago.)
Anyway, I dab into RPG maker probably four or five hours a week on average. Strangely enough, I am more inspired during the school year during summer. Classes like Physics and Ethics often motivate me. Plus, I go to school with Shiki and Kei (my lead beta tester and artist, respectively) so that plays a factor as well.
As far as why I do it; it's a hobby of mine and I love seeing everything come together in the end. I'm slow as hell though. SU is entering its sixth year of development, and it's about 3/5ths done. By the time I finish, PC's probably won't even be compatible with RM2k3 games.

I thought you meant how often on this forum XD
(that would be like, a few days a month)
But on rpgmker? Almost everyday that I have the time to.
