You're magical to me.

Have you made any games before? Have you ever worked with a team of this size on a project before?

Additionally, what engine are you going to use? What is the game even about? What's the concept? A Minecraft Action MMORPG? How would that even work? I don't understand... more information would be helpful. Even though I have no intention of joining in.
Minecraft server uses 3rd party publicly available API to create server sided plugins which does not require players to install additional client files, just the base Minecraft game. Thus the game engine would be Minecraft, programming language is Java.

The largest and leading was called Bukkit, but has since been replaced with Spigot / Bungee. The expected player activity is between 500-2000 online at once for a project of this scale. Do note it's a multiplayer server, hence MMORPG with the large player count.

Up until recently, only very few servers managed to pull off a project of this scale. DungeonRealms did a smaller scale with infantile features, but succeeded as one of the first who successfully introduced this concept. They were soon bought out and into the ground. WynnCraft is another recent example that is blooming.
So what? You're making an RPG-based server and want people to help with that. Dumb it down since a lot of people here don't really use Minecraft that much.

What, exactly, are you looking to get here? What would be required for those people who join your team to do? How long will it last? What's the pay/reward? Details, dude. Details.

I mean, damn man, I know and have played Wynncraft and a lot of Minecraft and I have no idea what you want/need. Explain yourself, okay?
I think you didn't answered unity's question, and if you didn't worked on another project before, I would really suggest you to read this and this.

Basically what I'm hearing is "I've dabbled in amateur server making before, so now I want to make Skyrim with a team of 15 people".

It's shocking how often this happens. Disappointing too.

They told me I was mad when I said I was going to create a spidertable. Who’s laughing now!!!

Yeah, I personally feel confident about joining a team that can't even format an image so that it shows up properly on the forum where I'm posting.

I also can't help but notice you're tooting the AAA Standard horn, but you're not mentioning any AAA budgets. AAA studios normally go through different channels to hire workers for good reason- amateur sites like these are notorious for flakiness and inexperience.

You aren't a AAA studio, you're an Ideas Guy with Photoshop, and most of us have ideas and graphics programs of our own. If you're really super for reals serious about this, pony up some cash to incentivize us to work on something that isn't our ideas.

You lost my interest with "MMORPG", to be frank. That's just me, though.

Guys, settle down! Making an MMORPG shouldn't be that hard, right? You only need a server and players and lots of networking skills and knowledge and legit programming skills and apparently you need a couple of degrees including a diploma in Computer Science and you can make it in Minecraft using an RPG Server and you can hire people from a site that generally use a completely different type of engine called RPG Maker that is in 2D and probably not anywhere close to what you require for this and also you apparently don't need to display any previous track record of anything and voila! you've got yourself a good formula for creating a Minecraft action MMORPG Call of Duty Sim Terraria Starbound WoW LoL roguelike MOBA! Where do I sign up? (But actually, where do I not sign up.)

Yeah, the problem is the act of asking and not the pie-in-the-sky presumtuousness from a complete stranger with nothing to recommend them! We sure are unreasonable!
Honestly, Sated, you'd get a team with little issue - you've proven you can work on a game and have something to show as an example as to what you can do and the type of quality you can make. Hell, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't just dump a list of 'I need these kinds of people but I'm not gonna be telling you what, exactly, I need from you - what particular skills, how long it will take, what you get in return and the like' in a topic and call it done.

Yeah, I would join a team with Sated... maybe... if I didn't have so many personal projects in the lineup. I think the most important thing about gathering a team is probably proof that you can actually make something.

Edit: Because generally making a game as a team is in my experience more complex to manage than doing it by yourself. Not that working in a team isn't fun, it can just be very dramatic if you don't know how to work out conflict, and it can provide humps down the road and general flakiness, especially if it's with total strangers.

Yeah TBH I'm only likely to join teams for Big Cash Money RN because 1) working in groups is usually a huge pain unless you have a great manager and nobody flakes, 2) I'm mostly doin shit for Uni or my own projects, and 3) I try to keep my schedule open in case there's a paying gig to pounce on because my bills aren't going to pay themselves. :/
