I've been like...10 months in this and I've understood perfectly how it works. But, I registered today due to a question that's been bugging me. I wanted to make conversations where the picture of the character that's talking is shown, while talking to another. How can I make this happen? Do I have use the "Show Picture" command?
You mean like portraits?
This script can make it easier w/o the tedious show picture command

I'm no mind-reader as to what you're looking for, but, I suppose you could show portraits through a regular message-box command? However, if it's one of those larger pictures that take up half the screen (or whatever), then, maybe try the script Porkate42 linked to.
*Edit: To make this less awkward of an introduction thread (at least for me)...

Are you talking about two pictures, talking to each other? If so...
Yeah, you can use pictures, either over the message box or above it. Simply use the Show Picture command. Make sure to have the two different pictures with different "Numbers" (as in, put 1 in the Number field of one and 2 in the number field of the other. If they are the same number, both won't show up) and use trial and error to figure out where they need to go on the screen.
For example, in my game, I have one picture with the x/y coordinates at the (0,94) position with the Upper Left option checked, while the other is at (412,94), also Upper Left. But I have a larger resolution, so you may have to modify them to fit your game.
Hope that helps!
