MODS AND BOTS MAFIA - GAME OVER

So... shit? There were two chosen towns in this game, right? Now they are both dead. We need to get our shit together!
author=FlyingJester
Wait, how? I thought the chosen town could only die by lynching?
Nope?
author=OP
Of the remaining 5 Vanillas, I will randomly pick 2 who will become Chosen Town. Their Role PMs will still list them as Vanilla, though. So neither Chosen Town knows they have been picked. As long as both are alive, their websites cannot be cracked at night, and they cannot be endgamed. I.E., if the Chosen Town are the only two remaining Town players, this will automatically result in a Town win, rather than a Scum win, as it normally would. This means that, in order to win, Scum must make sure at least one Chosen Town is DOXXed during day phase. Chosen Town will flip Chosen Town on being DOXXed or cracked. If a Chosen Town is DOXXed, a tie in endgame will, as per usual, result in a Scum win again.
So LockeZ, the first Chosen Town, was DOXXED during the day phase, and wildwes was night killed... But wait, what about the "as long as both are alive, their websites cannot be cracked at night," bit?
Did you mean that if BOTH are alive the chosen town can't be cracked, but if only ONE is alive they can? If that is the case, then it makes sense.
Either way the scum now has a chance in winning this, and we are getting to a point where we are boned.

Now scum can win, but they're still outnumbered four to two. We've just got to make sure to doxx one scum while we've still got numbers.
Ah, I see. I thought that each of the chosen town could only be doxxed and not cracked, regardless of if the other was still alive or not.
So actually, there's no real advantage for the remaining chosen town once the other was doxxed, is there?
Or maybe I just don't know what "flip Chosen Town" means?

"Flip Chosen Town"...think of a card game. We each have a role and it's written on that card. When that role is exposed for whatever reason, the card flips and we can all see what it says.

Care to explain your vote, because votes without explanations are the scummiest thing since non-sliced bread.
Says the man who has not been explaining his votes at all.
So far, everyone that I thought was town from the get-go has been killed. So I am going to trust my gut on these matters: piano is town.
Our mafia is either: Yellow Magic & FlyingJester (my first pick)
Or Yellow Magic & Dudesoft, my second pick.
There's a chance it could be Ratty because he has been acting scummy as hell.
author=Ratty524
I still think pianotm is the most suspicious, and maybe Isrieri since his explanation as to the mafia's possible decision to not night-kill might be an attempt to divert attention away from himself.
Really though, I have no good leads on anyone right now. :x
This is a non-commital scum post trying to heft suspicion on the both of us.
Dudesoft just isn't here during the game and that's a good reason to kill him for me: Its a good cover if he's actually mafia and the way that FlyingJester has posted the last two days would support him being in scum-cahoots with him or YM.
I honestly don't know who the other scum is. But I know that one of them is Yellow Magic. No one has voted for him except wildwes and I, and wes is dead.
So give me a reason we should not to kill Yellow Magic.

I was trying to think of where that came from. I kept thinking I missed that, and then I realized, "Oh! That was yesterday!" Dude, I can understand why you're suspicious about me. But Isrieri? Really? I mean, sure, he could be diverting attention away from himself by making the comment he made about scum not night-killing, but where is the context? What reason does he have to divert anyway?
Here are my reads:
YellowMagic: Unsure, leaning to scum. He's ignoring anything that doesn't directly relate to him, doesn't contest any accusations against him, only challenges actual votes against him, when he sees them, and he bandwagoned the second day. He hasn't actually said anything that makes me sure he's scum. I'll vote YM if a better choice doesn't present itself. After all, he seems to be keeping a low profile and trying to avoid attracting attention, but he is definitely making his presence known.
Dudesoft: Town. I'm not even sure anymore why he signs up for mafia. His plate is full, and he barely has time to be here. If I wasn't sure, I'd vote for him, but I am sure: Dudesoft's being textbook Dudesoft this game, and I'm not voting for him.
FlyingJester: Your guess is as good as mine. He hasn't said anything scummy, but he's new to the game. If you go back to sign ups, you'll see this is his first one. I remember I played my first several games over-aggressive. The flip side of that coin is over-cautious and FlyingJester certainly looks like he's being over-cautious.
Ratty: I don't know what to think at this point. He's suspicious of me. Cool. I understand. It's no surprise after the last day phase conflict. But why Isrieri? You were being very quiet, just posting conversation here and there, admittedly helping a bandwagon along, and then Isrieri posts that scum didn't attack and now he's suspicious. I'm just not seeing the reasoning behind suspecting Isrieri. I mean, you haven't said anything about since, so maybe you've changed your mind since then? I don't know.
Isrieri: Unsure, leaning town: He may not be posting much, but his talk about gut feelings feels town to me. At first, all he really says is that he doesn't trust YM's bandwagoning, and I'll admit he doesn't really go into an explanation about why YM seems scummy, but reading my observations of YM, and I realize it's a feeling that can go either way. I'll be honest. YM's playstyle feels a little off, and I can perfectly understand why someone would think he was scummy even if there's no real indication.
My choices for scum are YellowMagic and Ratty at the moment.
Fine, fine, I'll start contributing, geez.
Here's the thing: I am immediately suspicious of anyone who uses the word 'bandwagoning' next to my name. Here's my votes so far:
Day 1. Wildwes, the second vote (and a complete and utter joke-vote, at that)
Day 2. Dudesoft, the first vote
Day 3. Isrieri, the first vote
The facts speak for themselves. Isrieri and pianotm, care to explain?
I am also not feeling Ratty right now. This post of his just seems really unnecessary and something a Mafia would say to cover up the fact that they are Mafia:
The follow-up post is not much better. Yes, it's a bad position to be in, we know that.

Hopping onto bandwagons? I just CREATED a bandwagon
I'm also still not sure, what extra powers did the second chosen town have after the first one was doxxed?

None. Once the first one went down, the second one was no better than vanilla.

It was worth mentioning, whether I put much stock in it or not. It's definitely on a lot of people's minds. What I was finding more interesting was the fact that you were clearly here, occasionally commenting, but not commenting on people talking about you. It was--for lack of a better word--unsettling.

The wildwes vote was part of the day 1 bandwagon: nobody had a clue about anyone then. Dudesoft is always low participation; an obvious target. I had assumed that you voted Isrieri in retaliation. I never had questions about your voting record.
Oh geez. Retry. I keep forgetting that once you remove "author" from the quote function, it gets picky about spaces.
pianotmFlyingJesterNone. Once the first one went down, the second one was no better than vanilla.

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

The powers of the chosen town are exactly what I wrote down. If both are alive, neither can be nightkilled or endgamed. If one is dead, the other can be nightkilled and endgamed. They have no other powers.

The facts do not speak for themselves. There's certainly a lot of interpretations I could glean out of those votes though. Here's mine:
The first day vote on Gourd I can understand as being the arbitrary day 1 vote. Nothing very suspicious about that. But then there was the vote for Dudesoft out of the blue the next day. Now, he just hand-waved it; pretty obvious he didn't take YM's vote seriously, as I would expect. But soon after his post, FlyingJester and Ratty were all over that.
Now, what am I supposed to think about 3 dudes voting for a random dude first thing that the day starts with mildly flimsy reasoning for doing so? One or more dudes on that wagon is mafia. There is no question.
So the question is not who is mafia. Its who among the three of you is town. And I'm willing to put my vote on the people who weren't keeping mum while LockeZ & pianotm duked it out. Prime candidate being: Ratty524
Here is the reason I don't think Ratty is mafia. Why try to turn the vote away from LockeZ, if he were? Not much to gain from it.
Now it is possible that Dudesoft is scum too. He did start the vote for LockeZ. There's a good chance he would have been lynched if LockeZ had not...done whatever he had done. Its very easy to make the case that Dude lept on the opportunity to lynch LockeZ, and its easy to see FlyingJester also hopping on that bandwagon to drive the vote home. As he's been doing the past 2 days.
So like I said before, its either YM & FlyingJester or Dudesoft & FlyingJester.
....Shit, y'know what?
#lynch FlyingJester
No wait, I take that back. #cancel #lynch Yellow Magic
YM was bussing Dudesoft. There's your answer.

It's true, I have little time for these. I'm sad to say, I joined to make a tubgirl reference. But now that that's over, the typical problem is attention span. At work, it's like 1 minute here, 1 minute there in between tasks where I can peek at my phone, and I usually forget to come here nor have time to catch up on my reading.
Anyway, all caught up and serious now.
It's worth noting that I was an instigator and helping hand in murdering two people so far. Not a good thing, and I'd be willing to toss myself under the bus to help you dudes weed out the goodies vs baddies. Alas, with 4-vs-2 odds, I best stray from the Light and come out of this reading hardship coma.
If Isieri's logic is sound, and it does read as such; is it necessary that both Ratty and YM are scumbuckets, or isn't it equally plausible that one or the other was swayed to vote for LockeZ based on the same uncomfortable feelings I got from his posts as well? When I picked LockeZ, I felt smug. Like we were about to win. Only to get a sharp kick in the ego.
Another reason I don't participate much, is that I'm not particularly good at Mafia.
I'll side on the YM vote for now, and will check again for any evidence to contrary Isieri's logic. It sounds good. Similar to how the guys irl figure out things in the Coup cardgame.

I think by that post, Dudesoft, I can weed you out for the potential of being scum.
To make it seem like he's on the town's side? I don't know, though, his most recent post sort of eased my suspicion of him overall, and to be honest, a lot of my accusations aren't really based on anything since whoever IS scum in this game is doing a really good job at not making it obvious (or maybe I'm just dumb).
As if you don't do the same?
As a matter of fact...
