This was kinda unexpected, but pretty cool. Trailer had me in stitches most of the way through too (Grand theft motorbike FTW).
You can put me down on team "Sure why not". His moves look cool, the Limit Break mechanic looks like a blast to play with and mildly strategic to boot, and the stage looks fantastic.
I am a bit miffed that the Cloud Mii I have is going to have to be retired, though. XD
I think he's stuffed up Peach's dress, only to appear when she needs a couterattack. XD

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Now I have extremely unrealistic hopes for Rydia, Terra or Celes in Smash XD

Well...yeah. I guess I just meant that maybe Square would start releasing their major games on Nintendo hardware again. Not on Wii U obviously but on NX, since the speculation is that it at least competes with PS4 power-wise.

The only reason major Final Fantasy games aren't released on Nintendo consoles is because the Final Fantasy name is synonymous with top-end graphics.
This was unexpected! The protagonist of the first Final Fantasy game after Squaresoft had ditched Nintendo....wow.
Maybe this is a sign of Square and Nintendo finally patching things up? If Square finally starts releasing their games on nintendo platforms again(say...on the NX?) I might never have to buy consoles from other companies ever again.

So…anybody planning on maining the Cloud? He seems pretty legit, actually. I definitely want his Amiibo figure whenever it comes out, that's for sure.
- And I love the inclusion. Good on them for finally including a Square-Enix rep. It’s just so weird and unbelievably amazing at the same time to have Mario, Sonic, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Ryu from Street Fighter and Cloud in the same game together. Man, who would ever thought that would ever happen!?
Erdrick, or that guy from Dragon Quest, whatever his name is, would actually be a really, really good choice, since Dragon Quest is as big and as widely known (at least in Japan) as one of the biggest RPG series’ ever and I can totally see that work. Lara Croft would be pretty cool too, but I still prefer somebody like Sora or Crono over her since she’s more of a Playstation character more than anything. But, hey, Cloud got in so anything’s possible!
