[RMVX ACE] :D HEY ALL

Hey all! I just grabbed VX Ace in the steam sale, I have played with some of the previous versions but never completed a project (Just lost hours into the black hole that is tweaking tile sets and sprites).

About me
I'm 28 from the uk and a stay at home dad. Ive been toying with the idea of learning to script for ages but never got around to it. After watching a really inspiring youtube vid series, I am determined to get scripting and see this a nice easy entry point where I can see a creating rapidly take shape.

For my first play around with the engine I am going to make a puzzle/ treasure hunt game, It will be tiny and fast to play through. No fighting in the game as I don't want to delve into the quagmire that is battle balance, something along the lines of monkey island/ broken sword without the fantastic dialogue (more because I am terrible at going off in long winded tangents)
