Pain is relative. To some people, what you are describing IS pain. But no...generally it doesn't hurt. Pain isn't the only indicator of injury. While a testing a lamp I was fixing once, a plug came loose, and for a few seconds, I got plugged into the house power. My arm ached for a few seconds, but it stopped and I felt what you're experiencing for a few hours. It did not persist for me. If it is persisting for you, you have a problem. Doctor! Not joking.

No, you're body has plenty of insulation against minor shock, but a minor shock can still cause a problem. Poor circulation can cause all kinds of problems. Doctor. Go see. Why are you still here talking about this?

I play a medical internet RPG forum doctor on TV and I can confirm that A) you have almost certainly not developed any useful mutant powers, B) you're most likely suffering from sarcoidosis or amyloidosis (but definitely not lupis), and C) this sensation might just be something you've imagined and convinced yourself is real, but you should see your physician to make sure.

I'm not trolling, it's real.I just want to make sense of everything first though.I mean, I get shocked and now I can absorb electricity, no joke.You don't have to believe me, but I know it's real.

...why would you suspect he's trolling the forum? That's extremely rude to suggest. He's not doing anything inflammatory at all and he's given a lot of honest-sounding responses.

My thoughts exactly, and there is actual genuine concern from other members too, which is great to see.

Yeah, it's not really working right anymore, but I'm still using it because I'm afraid if I use my mouse pad that I might mess up my computer.

That's reason enough to take everyone else's advice and go see a doctor. I know it seems cool when you're young to think that you've obtained some sort of power through a miraculous fluke, but things like these don't happen.

I thought I had a bladder tract problem and went in to see the doctor to get it all checked out. He had to feel my genitalia excessively to check for any abnormalities, which there were none. It was all stress related and, let's be honest, I was mortified when he told me to drop my pants, but it's always better to be safe than sorry.

My sensation of touch is messed up in my right hand, I keep feeling something sort of like static electricity shocks except it's really unusual, I'm getting worried, and I really think I should see a doctor just to be safe. I don't want to take off time from school or anything but I'd like to schedule an appointment after school or on a day off."
Describe it honestly in as much detail as you can for the doctor, but that summary is really all anyone else needs to hear in order to take you to the doctor. That last sentence I added will pretty much keep anyone from thinking you're just trying to cause problems.

I guess it depends on what country you're in, but doctors are really lazy where I live. If you want something done you're going to have to tell them exactly what's wrong. Basically you have to already know what's wrong before you go to the doctor. Pprobably because my country has an aging population. Aging populations need to see the doctor alot, and so there's like a 3 month wait time just to talk to someone. I suggest you come up with something better than "I can absorb electricity" before going to a doctor. Unless you're rich, then you can tell them you got a strange itch and they will send you an ambulance and do all the tests known to man.
