Are you sure you've tried everything trying to convince your parents? If you tell them the feeling is still persisting, that you're scared, and that you want to talk to a professional, they're bound to agree with taking you to a doctor, right?

Yeah, I did, they keep saying it's because I'm on my laptop all day, but I know it's not.

You should use these powers to fight crime.

If I could figure out how to control it then yeah, I guess.......

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

Someone seriously needs to whack your parents over the head, then. Maybe you should try to emphasize that you don't trust their judgement in this matter, and would rather speak with a professional? You could also try showing them this thread. If they're at all reasonable, and see all of us insisting you visit a doctor, maybe they'll change their minds.

You mentioned the part where you received an electric shock prior to these sensations, right? If so, I have no idea what is wrong with your folks.

you could say this was a shocking turn of events

To be fair to the parents, she also mentioned the shock being two weeks prior to the sensations, making it likely they aren't related.

That doesn't mean the sensations aren't worth being looked into by a freaking doctor.

Yeah, I did, I even told them as soon as it happened.

If I showed them this thread they'd just complain about how much they hate technology.

I'm trying to think of a use of ''wonder'' here so that I can make a pun, like ''I thunder why?''. Seriously though, go see a doctor. If your parents are telling you that, do what I did whenever I didn't feel like going to school, act like you are in a lot of pain and stare at your phone with full brightness for a while to make your eyes looks red!
Ahem in all seriousness though, do tell your parents to atleast get you checked. If they still deny, you may want to ask someone else like your aunt or grandma.

Um, I told my grandma, grandpa, mom, and cousin but they didn't listen.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

If your parents are refusing to give you medical treatment you should probably call the police

Contact one of your friends, and have their parents talk to yours. They might listen to an adult. If not, ask your friend's parents to take you to the hospital without your parent's consent. I mean, you've been feeling this for several days, for crying out loud.
For fuck's sakes, is this thread still going on?
Go to a Walk-In Clinic on your own, or even walk into the Emergency Ward at a hospital. Electricity is no fucking joke. You can seriously die.

They just don't seem to think anything is wrong, but it doesn't hurt so I guess if it does I'll try to convince them again immediately.

You should never take all of your information from one source, or even two. I had this kind of thing come up when asking my father about what my schedule meant (to be fair, it's not entirely clear at first glance). He said one thing, so I went to ask my brother. He said the same, so logically that should be enough, right? I mean, they -are- the only two people who actually do daily work in the house. Eh... I ask my mother and she's not certain so she tells me to go in and ask, because it's better to be safe than sorry. I echoed what she felt from the beginning or else I wouldn't have asked my entire family what the deal was.

Surely enough, my mother and I's suspicious were true while my brother and father were dead wrong, meaning I would've gotten screwed over on the first day of this new schedule had I went with what they said.
---------------

There was also this Coffeh Time where Dodger (Dexbonus/PressHeartToContinue) talked about this time she was a kid and shoved some sort of pit up her nose and it disappeared and she started freaking out. She asked her dad and he said that she probably just swallowed it and it's in her stomach, no problems, done deal. She told her mom, now reassured that nothing was wrong, who started freaking out and immediately took her into the hospital to get it removed. The doctors said "yeah, the pit probably would've gotten caught in her windpipe and she would've died in her sleep".

It's important to check these things out.

It does not matter if it hurts. Hurting is not the only way for your body to tell you something it wrong - it's just the most common way. The fact that you're feeling something different in your body is a clear indication that there is something wrong with it. Any deviation from the norm is something to worry about.

When you have a fever you don't always feel pain, but the cold shivers and heat tell you that there is something wrong because they are different from your normal body 'settings'.

GO GET IT CHECKED OUT

I don't give two shits what your parents have to say on the matter. I give two shits about you not waking up one morning because 'oh, they ded. oops.'

You have noticed that something is off - that is more than enough cause for concern. Make an appointment for yourself. If you are not of a legal age to do that, call up the Nurse on Call. They are there for this reason - in case you're not sure about something and want a professional opinion. I'm sure a quick google of your town and the nearest NoC should give you a number to call.

DO THIS.

Reasons why?
My aunt had a patch on her arm that felt numb every now and then. It didn't hurt, but sometimes it got small pins and needles feeling in it and other times she couldn't feel when she poked it. This went on for a few weeks before she went to see her doctor - and the only reason she went to get it checked was because it started to become darker.

Flash forward a year and she's now got cancer all through her lungs and bones, because she didn't get it checked when it could have helped. The doctors have said that if she'd come straight away, when she noticed there was something wrong, it could have been caught in time and cut out, but no. She ignored an abnormal sign and now she's dying of cancer.

I don't think you have cancer, but I do think your body is screaming at you that something is wrong, and leaving it 'because it doesn't hurt' is basically just letting it get worse.

Okay then, I will.
Good. You gotta take care of yourself, you know? Other people can't feel your body reactions, so they don't know if something is wrong or not unless they've studied the human body at length. If you don't look out for yourself, who will? I mean, your parents are supposed to, but they don't know everything so they can't say whether something is normal or not if they've never studied it before.

Hopefully it's just after effects and your body's way of trying to calm the system - your body runs on electrical currents, and that's why electrocution is very dangerous to it. It disrupts the normal signals in the body and can cause a lot of very serious issues, especially if you realise that every thing your body does is due to 'wiring' in your brain running electronic signals to everywhere telling it what to do.

Never mess around with the electricity in your body.

Okay....Thanks everyone.
I once got electricity vibrating one of my arms for like a quick second before I let go of the plug. Luckily I felt fine for many years now. Just as long you didn't let it reach your heart, and other body parts.

I think.
