Soooooz where did you get those awesome Dragon Quest stickers? :D
@Isreri: That might be the simplest desk yet. xD

My desk is any hard surface next to an outlet.
Though back at home, our PC's all on the floor. We just grab a pillow from the sofa and indian-sit on the ground. Why? Because our deskS (emphasis on S) are all but full of cosmetics, mini-figurines, my mother's text books, and the fiction novels I bought at the local discount shop.

Iiiii think I got 'em buying a DQ game? I don't remember; we've had 'em forever. ^_^;
What's the phone background (assuming, of course, it's not something naughty, because you totally seem like the kind who would have a shrine to her in your closet tbh).
It's just the same piece of art (by Scappo I believe) that I have on my desktop at the moment.

I really like this rendition of her! It's also the background of my PS3, cause damn, does it ever look nice on a 39' TV.

@Isrieri: Damn, son. You go HARD.
I'm gonna do better than just post my desk. I'm gonna post my entire flat! Behold my 21st-century living quarters:

Salient points:
- My MacBook Pro. Fight me
- Mini-oven to the right of my desk
- PS4 on iron table
- The thing on the bottom-left is my microwave. Not pictured: My sink. Yes, I live in my kitchen!
- Pizza box on floor
- Bruce Lee art above my desk o/
- Satsuki-senpai figure on top-right <3
- My amazing uncluttered bed
You might be wondering why I live like this. Reasons:
- Didn't want to share living space with anyone anymore
- I live in Zone 2 Inner London which is pretty convenient. It's a 35-40 minute walk to King's Cross (yes, Platform Nine-and-Three-Quarters King's Cross)
- I pay £620 a month, all bills included, which I think equates to $900. Sated might be throwing up into his cereal bowl upon reading that, but even he'd know how expensive London can be and how I actually have the best deal out of anyone I know living in this city.

King's Cross? Yes, he's absolutely livid!
Also, if you think rents bad in London, at least you're in London. Because rent in REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN is comparable to that (though you'd get a bit more space, maybe even a 1 bedroom). Rent here is super overpriced for bumfuck middle of the prairies because supply is so low.
But fuck mate, why are you keeping stuff on your oven? to start a fire?

Rent for that place in a Miami slum would be $2000 US. Here in St. Louis, it would be about $350. 500 to 900 if you want to be in walking distance of Union Station, The Loop, Antique Row, Euclid Ave., or Gaslight Square.
Wow, so many awesome desks! This inspires me to become a better person for some reason.
I tried taking a picture again and I didn't miss this time!
I deeply apologize formy first RMMV screenie the overwhelming screenshot size.
Y'all gotta' keep it down OG:

You people and your fancy 'work spaces'. My desk is anywhere I can sit down. Usually a coffee shop or at work. My home is too chaotic to get any work or gaming done.

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

If you think that's bad...
Then you're absolutely right. That's absolutely ludicrous. I don't think I've ever even heard of such costs in my city.
Then again, I lucked out majorly because a highschool friend of mine has two surgeons for parents. They reckoned that since real estate devaluates more slowly than money, they might as well buy an appartment their son could rent from them in his college years. When my friend and I realized we were going to enroll in maths at the same university, he decided that I might as well move into his parent's apartment too, so we could split rent and living costs. I only pay about €550 a month in total, and can also profit from the amount of luxury and comfort my friend has been used to for his whole life, and has thus made sure the apartment satisfies. My bedroom itself may only barely be large enough to fit a bed, desk and closet, but we have a large living room and kitchen, so I actually have a lot more space than the average student. I can't stress enough how much I lucked out.
author=SatedEvery now and then I dream of buying a nice flat around Salford Quays...unfortunately salaries outside of London are generally much lower than within. As an example, I'm currently earning £12,000 p/a more than my Glasgow counterparts (this is also why the high living costs around here don't bother me too much).
To put that into perspective, I rent a 3 bedroom house in Manchester for less than Yellow Magic's flat.
London is horrible.
author=kentonaWow, that kinda rent's pretty high for a town I had never heard of until I came across you lmao

Don't worry, I take the telephone off the oven when I'm cooking something...

That's a luxury maybe only 20% of Londoners can afford, unless they get as lucky as I did with my place.
