Well, if you weren't eagerly anticipating a film that isn't even in production yet, you will be now. You're welcome.

This would be so awesome!

I'm sorry, I deeply regret putting Star Wars and space in the same sentence 30 years and a day after a space ship exploded.

Why does the anniversary of the Challenger explosion make this a problem???

Sounds perfect for a story lacking in gravity.

Stand back. Artist at work. I paint with enthusiasm if not with talent.

Holy shit that website made my browser's memory consumption spike to 1.5GB. I had to restart it.

I bet moving a production crew over to space would cost several millions on the side of uncomfortable. But this is Disney we're talking about and since they've got enough money to buy all the continents and the five oceans i guess maybe they could pull something off.

Although digital space is very similar to real space. It's a black background with dots of different sizes. Frankly i don't understand the reasoning behind that desire.

This seems like a little overkill for a movie series that takes space in such a wildly non-serious manner. Suddenly introducing actual zero G would probably just make everything look really fucking weird.

I mean like, cool that they want to shoot a movie in actual space, but at the moment we should probably be expending that rocket fuel on more important stuff that actually needs to be in space.

I feel like this would be an important step in space travel. Using space travel for lesser commercial products would be another step towards civilian access to space travel, which would also be an important stop to possible colonization of other planets in the solar system.

It's something that would show the people that this can be done on an accessible commercial level, which is something that SpaceX and Virgin have been trying very hard to do.

I just hope this dude knows what he's getting into. I think what Craze was implying with his comment about the Challenger explosion was that anything space isn't easy. It's risky getting into space, and once you are in it, you have a lot more complications to mind.
IGN was so slow to load but I read about the same thing on /film and there it seems that the shooting in space part would just be background plates.

But I guess it would be cool nonetheless. For Episode III they shot in a volcano for the Obi-Wan vs Anakin fight. I guess it could be a fun thing to have actual space in whatever fight is happening in episode IX.
I wonder what the insurance companies will charge.

i can't wait for another hit single to come out of a celeb death during a movie lol
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

This is the most pretentious, artsy-fartsy, idiotic thing. Someone fire this guy and replace him with a director who cares about the quality of the movie instead of about making a name for himself.

Sadly that's not easy to do, considering that makes up about half the industry.

The I in Vaccaria stands for inertia.

I think it's possible because scientists have already proven that they could control gravitation waves. I guess it wouldn't be long until we can use Force Choke.
